Fair enough I have to disagree with you on that I think it was a good fight, like you said when Davies stood in the pocket it was when it was back and forth. But give it a rewatch I think you will find that Taylor was fighting seriously.

Taylor levels above Davies and proved it - has the potential to be the best ever fighter to emerge from Jock Land

Catterall wins, better technique will look superb in this fight.

He is a level above, I expect Taylor to win the WBSS if he does then he would be a unified champ. He would probably have to clean up the division to be just below the likes of Ken Buchanan and Benny lynch.

I agree it was a good fight and Taylor fought seriously. I just felt at times he got emotionally involved and exchanged in pocket more than he needed. I think it was an easy win for him though, with Davies power he took risks he never needed to take.

Davies by KO, Caterall is decent, but Josh Taylor is next level elite, Davies is a little better than decent, Caterall has struggled with and look poor against first Nurse and now McKenna, while I like Caterall more, Ohara is going to **** him up.

I think Caterall beat Nurse convincingly but that McKenna fight was close. If he never scored the knock downs he could of potentially lost that fight.
I think Caterall has the attributes to beat Davies but he doesn’t put together against not so great opposition I can’t expect him to do against his best name.

Catterall railroaded McKenna. Had he not stupidly carried on punching him when he’d just floored him then it would have been followed by a nice quick finish. McKenna showed an awful lot of heart but he effectively took a hiding at times just for the approval of the Belfast crowd and he should have been pulled out for his own health imo.

Against Nurse, who is very tall, experienced and underrated. He nullified his natural attributes by working him on the inside. He clearly won.

Davies has beat who...a shot to pieces Matthew’s who stepped up in weight to take the fight? Scarpa, Farrell?

I like Davies, he has genuine power as well, but he’s there to be slipped and countered by anyone with decent skills and power themselves.

On what grounds are everyone thinking Davies stops Catterall? Jack has never been down pro or amateur, and I don't believe he has been hurt badly? I know Davies cam bang but it's a little presumptuous.

Jack should outbox him clearly. Davies heart will be questioned again - lets see how he'll respond.

Nurse is the definition of a stupid fighter, he has good attributes but just slings it out all the time, drawing with the likes of Hughes.

He loves a tear up too much mate...which goes against him cos he doesn’t carry much power at that weight.

Lool every fight his eyes are lumped up, and what makes it worse is he isn’t a plodder type fighter like a eggington who has to rely on having a tear up, he actually has skills smh.

However I do agree with you about Ohara having fought Taylor made guys but to be fair to Davies, he has been scheduled to fight three undefeated prospects in Farrell, Leather and now Catterall

They never offered him the same media blackout protection they gave to AJ for his comments.

Just goes to show you what a scumbag Hearn really is.
