It's not you, on that picture he fat but he will be in top shape, don't worry about that.

 

If they are winning at the championship level, yes. Statistically, he should have almost no chance. An over 35 boxer beating a prime p4per has happened five times clean in all of boxing history. If he doesn't lose, he's suspect.

 

Age is but a number, especially in boxing. Roy was attending the Olympics as a teen and was sparked by Tarver at 34 (with a cloud of career PED use). Hopkins barely got out of prison at 24, let alone put on full level training, and did great past 40, never failing a test.

Style, defense, reflexes and genetics combined with wear and tear plus how you take care of your body results in vastly differing primes. Borg retired at 26, Federer is world number one and winning slams at 36, again, no sign of PEDs.

Considering power and timing carries, you could lose speed and intensity and still dominate rounds with clean effective punching, or just spark ppl. the f out. With today's nutritioning, recovery management and frankly, so few fights per year, you could easily preserve championship level skills if you play hit and not get hit.
