Case in point; he never seemed that mobile to me. Wasn't sufficiently fleet of foot to keep Wlad from laying on him all night. Wasn't that supposed to be his prime?
I dont think he's overrated, he's a top 5 heavyweight with decent stamina in recent years, if he can make AJ work more than he wants to, he could surprise. Though if AJ fights tall he should be ok, that and he doesn't have to press for a knockout to win, povetkin has to.
Either you're being sarcastic about Povetkin ducking Wlad, and I misunderstood it, or you genuinely think that he ducked him. Clearly, he did not.
Povetkin will at least go for it unlike Parker who fought like a coward. Povetkin is a warrior and has knockout power in both hands unlike the featherfisted Parker.
You're rating miller? seriously?.. Seriously though? Sarcasm or for reals? Like rate him for what exactly?
Yeah Parker's power aint that strong (relative to top 10) but he still dropped Whyte, he's got ridiculous speed for a 240 pounder. And he fought a cautious game, just like AJ fought cautiously not like AJ fought againt Whyte. I rate povetkin, but he's on his way down, parker on his way up, hes only 26 and achieved a lot.
Miller is a 300 pound 6 ft 4 Brooklyn loudmouth that likes to fight and talk smack. He has no boxing background he slipped into it from MMA where he sucked as well, and a brief stint at K1 Kickboxing. What was Sam Peters background? Dillian also came from kickboxing, but he proved hes worth, trained hard, turned into a fully fledged boxing contender. Miller is a poor mans Dillian Whyte.
Miller is more like a prime Chisora pressure fighter gatekeeper type of guy. He looked pretty awful against Duhaupas, his defense is terrible, he is too easy to hit. He wouldn't win against the 8 guys i actually rate above him. He is possibly not even top 10 worthy, he needs to prove himself, how anyone can rate him as a top 5 guy is beyond me.
Yeah but Chisora had a pedigree and got some skills on him, being tough as F allowed him to go the rounds with the top 5 over the years. Miller gets by on being a huge man, thick neck and some brawling ability. Like you said pressure, come forward is hes tactic, cutting people off at the ropes. But as soon as he finds an opponent that can throw combos, uppercuts, move around he will be outclassed in a world of pain.
