Regardless, I care about what he does in the ring (which is what matters), he’s always up for the challenge. His resume is legit, he’s got good scalps. People said he would never take on a beast like Khabib, and sure enough he will face him nearly 23 months since his last fight in the octagon. Do you think he’s fighting Khabib for the money? Surely he could have made nearly as much against anyone he fought, so this is about people saying he can’t win. Like I said before, he talks as good as anyone. But he’s respectful of his opponents after every fight, win or lose. He will say anything you can imagine to get under their skin leading up to the fight, but he’s usually complimentary after. I know multiple guys who’ve trained with Conor and they all say he is definitely not a one-trick pony. He’s obviously a monster striker, so why not stand? Regardless if he wins or loses, he’s not good for MMA, he’s great for it. The guy brings casuals to the sport. Girls love him, people who don’t follow combat sports watch him, and diehards are fans of his as well. There’s a reason Dana curtsies every time he sees Conor. He’s the cash cow. He’s the Money May of MMA.
Why cant you accept some fans of MMA dont think hes the best thing since sliced bread ! Yeah it is a great fight for MMA but one guy will get all the officiating privileges and one or two do overs if he loses.
Khabib might be the poster boy and unbeaten and the champ and yeah Dana has slated Connor publicly a few times but I think they'll give McG a fair shake of the stick. I think the best man will win without controversy. The styles can't really leave any dispute. Either Khabib wrestle ****s Connor into ineffective submission or Connor peppers him from range till he knocks him out.
