Doesn't a defense require an offense to defend against?

BSC8 you are usually a very good poster. I have a question. Have a you fought before?

I've had over 40 official fights, not to mention all gym sparring /wars etc.

I don't believe any actual fighter would take this thread seriously.

I thought they had a dance off to LL Cool J's, mama said knock you out. Personally I'm not too sure what the rule is actually. LOL

You can’t be afraid of change. Don’t be like one of those people that still rides a horse while everyone else is driving a horseless carriage. This is for the better.

Some ‘naysayers’ in here I see.

It’s ok....people don’t like change,I understand your ignorance and forgive you.

But man are you gonna feel stupid when you sit down with your 6 pack to watch a P4P super fight that delivers punch allocations, writing tables, mandatory staches, penalty punches, scored ring entrances and Ricky Martin ringside on the mic.

Boxing 2.0 ladies and gentlemen, accept it or you will be left behind. The one dimensional sport as we know it has nearly had its time.

Who would be the current P4P stars under boxing 2.0 rules?

I agree COMPLETELY with the TS. Too many concussions in boxing. The NFL accepts that fact, why shouldn't boxing?

Therefore boxers should wear helmets....more like baseball batting helmets but without the bill....and absolutely NO punching below the neck.

How about ONLY punching the neck?

    That’s an idea.

Don't ask such impertinent questions! This is the new boxing. No punches, no ring, no gloves. NOTHING, except a couple of guys standing around looking at each other menacingly.

Could be modified for Ward if he comes back. ."punching is allowed only below the belt".

Now you're catching on professor, just picture the buzz our new boxing would create. Who can make the most bad ass faces while texting their attack and defense to the judges on their tablets :dancer2:

O but I don’t think someone should get credit for punches thrown that don’t land clean which boxing is trying to push now. If you’re not landing, that should score to the other mans defense. To many people claim robbery just because a guy used more effort but did not effectively execute by landing clean punches. Too many fighters getting participation awards.
