Ugas is a seriously underrated operator, I've been able to see that in him from years. Inactivity inside and outside the ring has been his downfall at times, but he's on a career best streak right now and looking great. Have to love a fighter with those Cuban amateur credentials.
Didn't Ugas take Ls left and right at 140? Castano looks like he might get killed against a big strong Jarrett Hurd
Do you know who one of the all time great Light Middleweights was? Roberto Duran. Castano-Hurd would probably go something like this. This content is protected
Duran turned pro well below featherweight and was at his prime at lightweight, where he reigned for years and was 72-1. He was an extremely good light middleweight but that was hardly his optimal weight class. Just saying. Just so happens he was so talented many people consider him the greatest living fighter, even alongside other legends like Eder Jofre, Ruben Olivares and Julio Cesar Chavez. His greatness allowed him great things all the way up to middleweight and beyond. Surreal man and a phenomenal fighter who loved to party. Funny how he could have potentially been even better with a little more discipline... the very same as Ruben Olivares. Ever hear the story of Duran knocking out a horse to win a bet?
Yeah, that was kind of my point, it wasn't even his optimal weight class, yet still managed to do quite well there and even at Middleweight. Castano is the same height and is a natural Light Middleweight, he'll be ale to compete with bigger fighters with relative ease. His style which I think is slightly similar to Duran's is actually more well suited to take on guys that are bigger than him.
