Don't know if you saw Cody's suit tonight entering the arena, but it was pretty weird.

Santos won this by out muscling Holland.

He was in dominate position all through rnd 3 and couple of submission attempts. Holland never hurt or in real serious trouble but Holland was also very ineffective in rnd 3.

Seriously.... Why are this and the last fight PPV? I mean... Yeah this card got hit with the pull outs, but come on.....

 

This is what I can never understand about him: his apparent unwillingness to make the leap up to 135 to take on TJ. He seems content to stay in a division he already cleaned out, and seems to be trying to deflect the whole thing back onto UFC by saying things to the effect of "I'll fight the 135 champion if the money is right". I get that he has to secure the best payday for himself, but he should really be taking calculated risks every once in a while.

I'm come to appreciate the Flyweight division a bit more as well. It's a solid but not great division. With how bad HW and LHW are it's hard to rag on it anymore. It's alright. But yeah, DJ can go out as an ATG but if he wants big money and to go out as the potential GOAT he needs to challenge and beat the Bantamweight champ.

Yeah Garbrandt is an unlikable idiot. He's obnoxious but without the quick wit of McGregor. What's to like about his persona?

 

I don't care about his persona, I like his style. He clowned Cruz. His style is what would make me watch UFC.

 

I just love Cody's fighting style. He made Cruz look like a scrub.
