The way Kovalev feints with his feet is on the level of Ray Leonard(that dude loved to dance and feint while doing to).
And Alvarez is having a hard time due to it.

Terry Norris has two losses to Luis Santana. Weird stuff happens.

Yes any time they were at range Kovalev outboxed Ward from the outside and Andre wasn't even capable of dealing with his jab. He resorted to mauling which is his forte and even there Kovalev fought with him on pretty even terms.

Good jab by Alvarez. Outjabbing Kovalev slightly. Unlike Alvarez Kovalev is actually trying to do something with his jabs though of course, mixing feints in with it to setup power. Close by Alvarez slightly edged the 1st.

in the second fight he was going to be knocked out. Ward is not a huge puncher, he is a fast decent puncher and you bet he would have landed another big punch. He was anxious for the win and he hit a little low. but he would have stopped Kovalev. I don't think he low blowed to get disqualified, this was not Golota vs. Bowe. He was anxious and trying to go underneath Kovalev's elbows, to then go upstairs when Kovalev dropped his gloves a little.

I think Alvarez edged the first, Kovalev finished better.
