    Man that bites. Props to Alvarez though. He really bit down on his gum shield to pull out that win. Only had him winning the 2nd before the stoppage.....

    lol I did have a bit of a bad feeling about this fight, like I said, Alvarez is good all departments and his power is underrated and Kovalev was too open defensively throughout and left himself wide open to getting caught too much. Alvarez just missed with a big right hand bomb not long before the one that dropped him.

    Guy deserves it, and he beat Sergey fair and square much more impressive stoppage than ball bangin' Ward.

    Ward never truly beat kov but Alvarez just landed some hell of crazy shots. As a loyal kov fan great win Alvarez best of luck with Stevenson

    Let me guess, the low blows, bought ref and judges. LOL Rightious retribution for all the over the top Kovalev sack sucking, hypocrites. Kov was looking good too! Too bad, I was looking forward to a Bivol fight. I got Kov wrong. I thought he would beat Bivol, Alvarez and any top LHW in the world.

    No Kovalev was krushing decent contenders. Alvarez has always been good himself. Hats off to EA. The landscape at 175 has changed a bit!!
