There's nothing complex about it. You don't like me. You've said so in the past. Since you mean what you say, I can therefore assume that this is the truth.

In turn, your penchant for going off on tantrums left, right and center grinds on me, and I'm not going to apologize one little bit for feeling that way. Plenty of my favorite fighters have suffered legitimate defeat, and while that can sting I haven't whined, moaned and thrown tantrums about those losses since I was a child.

Your penchant for doing so bothers me to no end, Chris, and every time it happens it causes me to lose respect for you as a poster. And, honestly, it's at the point where there's not much left.

Stevenson will not fight him, Alvarez has been his mando forever and he keeps paying step aside money to fight guys like Fonfara or Jack.

 

To be fair, Jack's a legit contender. But, yeah...Happy that the Storm finally got a chance and was able to capitalize upon it.

 

Alverez just did what Ward couldn't do in 2 fights and his fanboys are crowing as if this looks good for Ward.

There's a reason why Ward retired because he didn't want any part of the competition that was coming from the up and coming young hungry lions in the division that were all waiting for him so they could finish him off and give him a goodbye ko like what SK recieved tonight.

 

I knew Alvarez was dangerous, but he's got 12 kos in 25 fights. I will not be surprised if this guy got popped for PEDS after this

 

Even a feather-fisted fighter can knock out a gassed opponent, which was what happened. Kovalev got lazy and didn't do endurance training. As soon as he got tired half way through the fight, his speed and reaction fell off a cliff and he got crushed. It was going to happen sooner or later. It happened sooner, but could have happened in rounds 9-12 as well.

 

Or maybe you're putting too much stock in knockout percentages and should realize it doesn't mean a damn thing when you get hit with a flush shot.
