Holyfield would be undefeated if this was the case.

I personally think that the boxers should be forced to bring 12 different colored pens or pencils to the ring, and they can only use each color once. If a round is really close, a judges’ propensity for one color or another could be used to settle the score, or we could have a set list of which colors defeat which colors. It’d add an exciting element of strategy to the bouts.

Nah, they need to bring their own #2's so the judges can pick which pencil to prefill the cards with. Judge likes your pencil, bam that score is yours!

Kovalev never gets knocked out last night if Alvarez hadn’t thrown so many punches. Not fair, really.

I bet some idiots will spend all their punches during the opening seconds. It's much better to throw one punch every 20 seconds to have a steady activity and control of the fight. Depending on the judges it might also be better to throw all 10 punches during the final moments of the round to leave a good last impression.

Excellent idea! We should also make the fighter call out the punch they are going to throw before throwing it. That way it gives the defending a fighter a chance to know what's coming and then he can get creative with how he chooses to defend it. The judges can give points based on how he defends.

We also need to start judging based on effective rule breaking. One of the most important aspect of winning a fight is how well you break the rules. Points need to be rewarded for excessive clinching, clean effective headbutts, stiff-arming, and of course effective low blows/faking low blows. Many atg fighters would be nobodies without these crucial skills.
