Sure but Ward was still the smaller man and a career SMW. Had his first ten or so professional bouts at MW. Amateurs is a totally different game.
in your opinion, but you thought that anyway to begin with, didnt you? so nothings changed. other people have the opinion that moving up for the unified champ is more than beating a single title champ in your division. Their opinion hasnt changed too.
He had fights at 160 in his youth. Ward was never a light heavy. He was always a natural super middle.
I believe Wards time away from boxing and his lack of activity points to certain special stuff being put into him....just my opinion mind.
