To the original point I was making, this defeat does show that there are some flaws in Kovalev's game that John David Jackon and his current trainer weren't able to correct. Stamina definitely seems to be one issue, but the other issue is the fact that SK occasionally goes back in a straight line with his hands low- and isn't always fast enough to pull that off. Alvarez was able to capitalize, and that's why he's now the champ.
