Totally agree with what you’re saying but why don’t they stop blowing smoke up his hole making out he’s the best thing they’ve ever seen. Fwank always makes out that Hearns matchups are this and that and his fighters aren’t as good as his etc. but he just doesn’t back it up by putting his fighters into a real test. Majority of his fighters just never get into meaningful fights enough and that’s totally opposite to what he preaches about looking after the fans and that BS just P’s the fans off.

Indeed, Twenty has summed it up in a nutshell.

I agree with your main point. I think Saturdays farcical attendance might force Franks hand abit with the next opponent. That was really embarrassing having an arena with only fighters friends and family init- Frank must have also done a fortune. Also I’m sure BT would not like to see that again.

Nailed it and the O'Hara Davies comparison is a good one in my opinion.

Have to add, I don't just think he'll be outboxed when he is finally stepped up, I think he gets knocked out.

He gets knocked out based on what?
Usually, we all get an indication of fighters potentially being chin as they’ve appeared vulnerable on the come up or even worse put down or hurt.

However, If it’s just a hunch then fair enough.

When you are getting hit that much by Eurobums, you get hit even more by a higher level of fighter.

Plus when we see a prospect being matched with a large number of opponents with a low ratio of KOs to Wins, we think of Amir Khan and we think that they are protecting glass.

Yarde is one of the most heavily protected high ranked fighters in global boxing at this point- but they cant hold him back forever otherwise the interest will tank in him even more than it has.

If yarde does stick to the European route then a fight with any of these would be good....
    Karo murat for the ibo
    Domenic boesel for the ebu

Or the guy kovalev beat mikhalkan? Or the guy beterbiev beat koelling?

Either of those last two would be a good yarde stick

    Ba-doom-tish!

His stanima is clearly not the best. This shows against over matched light punching opponents who he fights against at his own pace. So when he is out of comfort zone v a top LHW who can punch and the stanima goes and he is standing square on flat footed as he does he will be a sitting duck.

On the basis they seem terrified to stick him in with anybody who can box and dig a little bit, go and look at his opponents.

Might not be much of a basis but it's a basis LOL

Like to add, I was saying the same about Conor Benn way before he was decked by a fighter who was brought over here to get bashed up and had a record of 5-4-3.

I’ve only seen Yarde get hit a few times and that was against Sjeckloca and even then you could see he was playing with him and testing things out as the shots didn’t trouble him in the slightest. Please don’t try to make out that he is been touched up and troubled by these bums routinely as that is strectching the truth to say the least.

Look he might turn out to be chinny who knows but in reality there is zero to suggest that and for all anybody knows he might have a chin like Wayne McCullough or Eubanks.

So last night Eleider Alvarez knocked out Kovalev and he’s not known for having tremendous power.

Obviously Alvarez has faced far better opponents than Yarde and was proven on the world stage before he fought Kovalev unlike Yarde.

However Yarde has power and if Yarde is as good as Tunde has said he is, if he planted one on Kovalev he probably he could have stopped him too.

Some times in boxing you have to take a chance. I’m absolutely not saying Yarde would have beaten Kovalev (I think Kovalev would soundly beat Yarde from what I’ve seen - even Kovalev last night), but what an opportunity Yarde passed up.

Kovalev might well have been done. His stamina has never been that great and we’ve seen now that his punch resistance may never have been that great. If Yarde knocked out Kovalev last night he would be MASSIVE news in British sport.

But Yarde will go back to his bum carousel instead.

According to Warren, Yarde is supposed to be headlining a card on October 20th.

Assuming frank is going to stick with the WBO top ten, I’ve had a look and after eliminating fighters who have either other fights scheduled or are unrealistic I’ve narrowed it down to
    about 3:

Sean Monaghan US 29-1 17 KOs was scheduled to fight Sullivan Barrera in August but Barrera pulled out.

Damian Hooper AUS, 14-1 9 KO’s recently beaten our old friend Renold Quinlon by TKO.

Robert Parzeczewski POL, 21-1 14 KOs- from his record, he’s a decent European level operator much like recent Yarde opponents Sek or Sjekloca. Has beaten an ancient Thomas Adamek.

If it does turn out to be one of those 3, I personally would be okay if it was Monaghan who look like a slight step up to me. Hopper would also be reasonable - nothing special but reasonable.

Parzeczewski whilst a decent euro, would be a side ways step for me. I suspect though, Frank would probably go for him as it will be cheaper then bringing over an Aussie or yank.

This was a different Adamek, not the Pole.

None of those guys are as good as what we have on the British LHW scene at the moment Johnson, Buatsi, Buglioni, Burton etc...

Something very strange is going on behind the scenes with Yarde. What do his handlers know that we don't?
