    You cannot be serious??

Did you watch the rest of the fights on that card along with the officiating on the night?

The matchroom sponsored referee made sure every last one of Hearn's men were given free reign to do whatever they so wished to their opponents.

You have the Conor fight where the opponent he was fighting slipped and it was called a knockdown. According to your logic, slips ruled as knock downs should now be considered legitimate because one corrupt official called it that way!

And then you have the Parker Whyte fight where Whyte low blowed, elbowed, headbutt and forearmed smashed his way to victory and got away with. The ref at one point, even helping him back up on his feet after Parker had knocked him down,

Finally I will surmise this flimsy defense of yours on behalf of Ward by quoting the legendary Egis Klimas.

'''If I'm gonna rob a bank and I'm gonna get a million dollars from the bank and the police are not going to catch me, guess what? I'm lucky millionaire, right? Well he's a lucky ****ing champion''

Was a great win for Alvarez but I don’t think Kovalev ever recovered from the Ward robbery. He is 35 now too. However that is not to take away from Alvarez, the way he hung in there and out crushed the krusher he may have beaten any version of Sergey.

He did much better than I thought he would i picked kovalev to win and had kovalev up in the fight at the time of the stoppage. A great win for him after being over looked for most of his career.

Heh, Ward took that boy's soul and exposed all of his weaknesses, Alvarez just finished it off so congrats to him. Ward beat Kovalev straight up, it's called boxing but whatever, it's the loss you needed to see. Same thing that happened to Kovalev is going to happen to your heroes as well soon. Folks can't participate with the hype train, and when that hype train derails say the hype train wasn't really hype to begin with. That's just scumbag behavior (and savage).

This thread is about Alvarez. I've congratulated him on his performance which was brave, strong, righteous and clean.

Comparisons to the Ward Kovalev are unavoidable due to the fact that Alvarez and Ward are the only two fighters with wins over the Krusher.

As we compare both fights, we can only reach the conclusion that Alverez's empathic victory was the more impressive one because there was no controversy and because there was no need for him to bend the rules to gain an advantage. And of course we know Kovalev was sober for this fight, with a team that he trusted.

So he was in a far more healthy condition last night than the times he fought ward when his liver would most probably been yellow and scarred from the effects of the alcohol binges he subjected himself to.

And even then he still had enough to beat Ward in the first encounter. The 2nd fight Ward pulled out every single trick in the book to get the win. We are talking headbutts, wrestling, diving in with his head, stiff forearm smashes to the face, rabbit punches, low blows, bribes, bought and paid for home town cooking, roids, hiring Victor Conte, the list goes on and go on, I'd be here all day and night writing this message if I was to cover all the illegal unethical corrupt, Son of the devil, work this evil fraud has carried out during his career.

And that's not even taking into account what he did to Dan Goosen to cause him to lose his life for nothing. All because Mr Ward wanted more money. Ward is a very lucky man that Dan's family didn't press charges or sue the hell of his backside for compensation and damages. They are far more forgiving than I would be, believe me.

If it was up to me him and that other ginger bread fraud Canelo would be supermaxed for life on the grounds of manslaughter.

You mean just like when you thought that Broner would be the next big thing in boxing, and now you don't say a word about him?

Huh, I never thought Broner was the next big thing. Nice stereotype you got going there though shows your true colors.

    That's highly contentious.

However even if you want to use that as your main evidence to support your argument, it still fails as a comparison, because that low blow wasn't the finishing punch. The haymaker was.

If Allen's low blow caused Webb to fall or stumble over in pain and the ref waved it on then you could use that as an example.

There are many instances in other fights where those exact same low blows were penalised with warnings, points deductions, and disqualification as previously shown in the video I supplied which you convientley ignored.

One night of corrupt boxing on a matchroom wwe show where all the refs and judges are signed off by Barry and Eddie Hearn, gives no validity to your argument here.

    So try again.

Alvarez hit Kovalev with the same right hand that Ward hit him with. He half faked the jab and stepped with it so that he could deliver that right hand. Fact is that Kovalev can't fight, Ward beat him his way and Alvarez beat him his way. What made Alvarez's fight look easier is that he was eye level and reach level with Kovalev whereas Ward had to punch up.Either way it signaled the end of the Mighty Can Krusher.
