I love Mike but he's bang out of order there for trying to insinuate that Teddy's not a tough guy and a gangster.

Just when one thought Tyson couldn't be an even more pathetic
liar / loser than he already proved to be, he goes one up.

The REAL reason is that Teddy was jealous of Mike because Teddy always wanted to be a fighter but he wasn't good enough and Cus told him so. Teddy was just jealous of Mike.

I believe Tyson. At this point, I think his head is screwed on better than Teddy's, who always seems pissed at the world.

    Yes, exactly.

Teddy was a spoiled brat from a wealthy family and had a lot of false pride. He wasn't a good student, he wasn't an honorable young man (let's not forget the despicable act he was put into reform school for) and he was never a good boxer either.

Tyson in contrast had everything going against him. He grew up in poverty, yet he became the youngest heavyweight champion of all time and he was (for a time) the most popular boxer in the world.

    I agree.

Speaking from personal experience of being around Teddy when he used to train Moorer and used my old gym in Jersey City. He always talked and acted like a wannabe and was always preaching and to be honest myself and a lot of the other guys in the gym thought he was annoying.

Teddy Atlas IS NO GANGSTER. I believe Tyson....at this point in his life he has no reason to lie.

Mike is telling the truth. Teddy is not the tough guy he tries to make himself out to be. If you pull the gun you got to be prepared to pull the trigger. A grown man pulling a gun on a 15/16 year old teenager is not a tough guy rather he is a punk!

Tyson's explanation sounds bang on tbh. Teddy was jealous. And let's put this in context, Atlas stating that Mike was essentially molesting his niece without any proof is way, way out of line.

He's lucky Mike didn't snap his jibber-jabber neck for that.
