Is this the KO of the year so far?

It's a contender. Those right hand hail mary bombs usually end up on highlight lists, it's about as hard as you can humanly hit someone unless you catch them while they're throwing a punch.

 

Great punch, great knockout from a great guy. I like it, Allen deserves this, he is a good guy although very limited but who cares. Good for him he faced a bum like Webb who has a pathetic defense. Webb will probably KTFO by anyone who has a decent punch. Could be a second David Price but with a worse defense.

 

I think he would fight anyone anywhere anytime. He is all about making as much money as possible with his limited skillset and obviously has a big heart and loves the sports. Not the best combination tbh as he received some major beatdowns vs Ortiz and Yoka but still great to have those guys as there are enough bums who are taking no risks at all.

I mean look at Anthony Yarde. Good Boxer, good prospect and he is fighting bum after bum. Taking NO risks and even is saying he isn't ready for the big guys lol...after 16 fights....

 

Allen is a talented kid. If only he could get his conditioning together and get more active so he can develop the experience he needs I think he could actually be a force in the division.

 

No big miss tbh. Solid prospect but overrated due to knocking out some bums and glass chins. Will KTFOd soon if he steps up his opposition.

 

In lower level fights, there's at least 30 KO's a year like that if you dig deep into boxing like I have. So really a KO of the year has to be high profile enough but dude wasn't put to sleep so there's likely to be better. Has to be at least Wilder/Szpilka level to be a sure thing at the top.

 

I'm still shocked about it to be honest. If there's no trouble with the post fight drug tests I'd say it's the 'KO OF THE YEAR" Definitely.
