Not really haha. You asked me a question so I'm answering? Does that make me emotionally involved? I'm guessing you didn't watch the fight. I didn't even go on boxrec silly goose. I watched the Centeno/J-Rock fight where Centeno completely bitched out and quit.

LOL everyone on here talking about Charlo.

Charlo is a once per year fighter than fights on garbage haymon cards.

fought one fight in 2017 and he'll end 2018 with one fight. It's embarrassing really. At his age GGG was fighting 4 times per year , all televised by a real network.

lol I mean, charlo won his "belt" against Hugo centeno jr for fukssake!

He's not getting anywhere near GGG until he fights a live body. Jacobs, Murata, Andrade, Saunders, Clenelo...the list at 160 is endless.

Get ready for the big Jason Quigley fight in 2019.

OP, does it really matter what you thought, what was the consensus on this forum and elsewhere in the boxing community? That he was untouchable. Folks can't renege on the hype train after it derails and all the passengers are dead (like his fandom that will be dead like the hype Shabransky, Postol, Zlaticanin, and soon to be Derevyanchenko and others).

Golovkin doesn't get exposed because he doesn't fight live opponents like Kovalev does.

If Alverez was a MW , GGG would have given up his belt to avoid him like he did with Sergiy D.

So GGG didn't fight Jacobs, attempt to fight Eubank, Saunders and Froch who all lost their bottle when it was time to sign up?

You know damn well GGG is the real deal.

Many great legends established themselves in one division, GGG doesn't need to move up when he's a small MW in his mid 30's with an aggressive style.

Hopkins could do it because he is a defensive spoiler.

I said live opponents. It was only after Jacobs ran GGG to the cusp of a loss that he became an elite leveler according to the fanboys.
At the time Jacobs wasn't given any more of a chance than the ghost of Marco Rubio.

Froch? lol. He was retired when GGG came along. An active SMW answered that call but Golovkin bottled it. He turned down the opportunity to fight the P4P #1. smh :shakehead:

And now if he loses (officially) they'll use the excuse that he's now old but in his "prime" could've fought Ward and really build the legacy that he was hyped for.

Not even 10 seconds after making my post some fanboy made that same exact excuse to me in another thread. So predictable. I know these dudes better than themselves.

We've been through this before and you ended up looking very stupid as you always do, by the end of it

Ward sent GGG an offer when he knew full well that he was contracted to fight Lemieux. On the top of that he expected GGG to wait until he had his share of tune ups along with all the other a-side b-side mayweather wannabe nonsense that Ward likes to cling on to.

it was a token gesture offer to falsely make out that Ward wasn't afraid of the baddest man in boxing at the time. As if you can remember it was during that time period when was in his prime, that the entire division was terrified of him.

Even Froch went on record stating that he wouldn't want to go near him because he was a different animal and hit like a maul.

We know Ward was never serious with that offer because as soon as GGG team stated the offer wasn't feasible, Ward took the first opportunity to run to the press and shoot his mouth off to state that GGG was ducking him.

We all know he was virtue signalling as a guise to mask his own fear and justification for his casserole of tune ups consisting mostly of fat puddings and uber drivers.

We know this undoubtedly because after the first negotiations failed he quickly threw his arms up in the
air and gave up the idea of ever returning to the negotiating table.

He successfully fooled the desperate deplorable trolls such yourself so he could say to them "Look see I tried ....but the guy just doesn't want to fight. What more can I do ?? so I guess ill just have to fight the brands , the Rodriguez s and Paul Smith's of this world"

Let's not forget GGG was open to fighting Ward after his win over SK in the rematch and Ward is on record stating in no uncertain terms that he wasn't interested and so would rather instead retire at the prime age of 32 when Virgil himself said that Ward still had many more gears to go in regards to improving.

So there you have it! Your boy never wanted anything to do with GGG. Never made any serious genuine attempts to make the fight happen.

This isn't opinion but recorded facts from statements and interviews and this is how I have once again put your flimsy see through paper thin special need distortion of reality argument to bed.

    Goodnight.

Ward said he was willing to wait until after that fight. Its documented. GGG said no fight unless its at 164. Thats a duck.
One sentence blows away your long essay. . Lol
