Don't think we've actually had a poll up on this since it became likely. Who will win the fight if they face off in November or December?
Can we agree if Wilder wins, it will be by stoppage, and that if there is a decision it means Fury won?
Wilder and it's gonna be within the first 6 rounds. Round 1 : Fury wins this round because Wilder is reserved, he is testing Fury out, instinctively finding out when he has to attack. 10-9 Fury Round 2 : Fury is controlling the fight with his jab due to superior movement and reach advantage, Wilder is not landing anything yet but he isn't trying too much either. 10-9 Fury Round 3 : Wilder lands the right hand for the first time. Fury took it well but he is aware of the force he has to deal with now. Fury in control using his weight advantage in the infight, roughing Wilder up a little bit. 10-9 Fury Round 4 : Fury is getting cautious trying to stink the place out, he doesn't want to get caught by a right hand, Wilder is getting more confident. Fury still in control feinting and showboating. 10-9 Fury Round 5 : Wilder is getting more aggressive, Fury can avoid getting hit for most of the round but gets caught with a right hand at the end of the round, he is clearly rocked going into his corner. 9-10 Wilder Round 6 : Fury is constantly moving and dodging most of the punches but gets floored by a right hand which he didn't see coming. Fury gets up again but Wilder is ambushing him, swinging for the fences at the end of the round. Fury is hitting the ground again and the fight gets waved off by the referee. Wilder KO6 Fury.
Fury can win if he fights a pitch perfect fight, but I don't think he'll be able to do that against Wilder, he'll get caught. He's got more chance versus Joshua stylistically as that's a guy who will fight his type of fight. The hands down stuff versus Wilder is too dangerous and he's bound to slip a few, not something you want to do versus a guy with Wilder's punching power.
Wilder is the single most dangerous man for Fury in my opinion. Tall, quick, long reach, awkward, ridiculous power, and, perhaps most importantly, he's not cautious. Wilder wouldn't hesitate like Wlad did. Wilder would never go 12 rounds too scared to punch. I'd be afraid for Fury if he fought Wilder at Fury's absolute peak. In Fury's current state? ****. I still don't believe it will happen (this year). Fury's obviously still not that confident in himself. He's still too embarrassed to be seen without a t-shirt on.
ellerbe - take my ban bet. Fury wins, you leave the forum and have to use one of your alts Wilder wins, I leave this forum for good Fury will embarrass the one trick pony.
