Not sure whats worse , claiming Ward ducked Golovkin or claiming he'd get beaten by Golovkin. lol
Most Ward haters must know deep down that fight was all wrong for GGG.

They know it that's why 90% of GGG fans never wanted to fight in the first place. They wanted so baldy for Kovalev to finish off GGG's work. When Ward announced he was moving up to 175 it was like Christmas Day New years Eve and their birthday's all in one for GGG fans. They could finally breath a sigh of relief because the bully Ward was finally out of the picture for GGG.

Truth , most GGG fanboys at the time never wanted it as they knew what would have happened.

Interesting percentage figure. So you're insinuating that 90% of Golovkin fans are/were in denial about Ward being a bad matchup for him. Would like to see where you're getting those figures from. What did your good pal Lance tell you about posting this kind of drivel Pimp? Surely not a poorly calculated aggregation of what you've seen on niche boxing forums?

I posted here back then and there were very few GGG fans who wanted that fight to happen. What's funny about it is that you were probably one of them who didn't. I could bump 20 threads from then talking about Ward and why he shouldn't be targeting GGG. Don't play dumb with me you know what went on here back then. GGG's fans made every excuse in the book as to why that fight shouldn't happen. Ward is boring he's not a draw who is Ward Ward should move up Ward should fight Kovalev I could go on and on.

Ward beats GGG. Plenty of Golovkin fans have no problem admitting that. You got me. I personally admit I wouldn't want to have seen it because it would more than likely be a very ugly fight with a larger Ward headbutting, clinching and bullying his way to a lackluster decision win. It would suck. There's no denying Ward would win though clean or otherwise as you're trying to falsely insinuate that all Golovkin fans were in denial about.

he was that good but back to back losses affect a fighter I had him winning the first I think the second was a legit stoppage but to him its just two losses

I gave credit because he said he really didn't want the fight to happen and didn't want to see it.

I always wanted this fight and I hope that GGG vs Ward will be done in 2019 -2020. I guess it will be last fight of both GGG and Ward.

I always believed that at 168 GGG will win while at 172 it will be hard fight for GGG.

GGG vs Ward was impossible to make for several reason, most of them well documented and stated many times.

It’s not a surprise (actually quite expected) it’s still debated who would have won. Sad thing is the low level of argumenting, but esb never surprises me.

If I ignore all bias with the home venue, home refs, illegal foul play etc.

    My OPINION (result and time frame);

    At 160 GGG TKO (2008- )
    At 164 GGG TKO (2008- )
    At 168 GGG UD (2013- )
    At 168 Ward UD (-2013)
    At 175 Ward UD (2008- )

IMO opinion, Ward was always big weight bully, but had troubles to make 168 (needed to make magic at his home state, travelling was never an option). Therefore I’m leaning towards GGG at his natural weight class (160) and close to it (164) - no competition. At 168 Ward (-2013), size, weight and reach advantages and spoiling tactics would give him edge. Post 2013 is interesting - weight problems could cost him greatly.

Well whatever happened there I couldn’t say but re Kovalev he kept telling us all that he wasn’t in Golovkins league and for some reason nobody wanted to believe it.

Wasn’t a good fight for Golovkin at the time imo,Ward had everything to gain and Golovkin the most to lose.
Honestly I’d love to think Golovkin beats his ass but Ward would just tie him up in knots, twelve rounds of being leaned on and cuddled would only go one way.
