Mike Tyson who beat Tucker and destroyed Holmes, Tubbs and Spinks vs Vitali from Lewis, Kirk Johnson and Sanders fights.

Who do you pick and why?

Tyson by slaughter. Mid round TKO, Vitali doesnt win a round, though his chin sees him through it without being knocked down. Would look something like chuvalo vs foreman

Vitali had great control of distance and was strong like a Bonecrusher. Tyson by SD.

Tyson by early stoppage or hard fought UD.

Wouldn't this be a bad stylistic matchup for Tyson...kind of like facing a bigger, stronger Foreman with an even better chin.

Vitali all the way. Control of distance superlative, reach too long, chin too good.

We saw what happened when Tyson met somebody on Vitali's level and size and Lewis beat him like a drum.

But that was a shell of Tyson TBH, he was KO'd by Danny Williams shorthy thereafter in 4 rounds, and even jorneyman McBride stopped him.

Vitali would obviously easily stop Tyson of 2000's but what about Mike from 80's?

I was trying to find a common opponent other than Lewis and then remembered this guy, Francis:

Not that the clips say that much because they both destroyed Francis. But I'd like to raise the point that Francis barely landed a punch on Vitali, who demolished him while maintaining his composure. Tyson likewise devastated Francis, but he was throwing with venom from the start, and Francis managed to land in turn on him. I like the guy who maintains his composure, myself.

What can I say, I feel Vitali is a crappy matchup for Tyson, even the 80's version. There's really no way to "prove" an outcome and people are going to go with the fighter they like more.

    Tyson stops him.
Vitali doesn’t have punching power and punching variety to bother Tyson.

look at 24:15 of that video. At least he`s taller that we know but stronger? Anyone that big is gonna be able to hit some but Vitali didnt really carry the kind of knockout power that Foreman once did. Wlad was a better, sharper puncher.
