He's asked the same question by different interviewees at different times. He gives a consistent answer in response. This is how you do it. You repeat and repeat and get your side out at every opportunity. Think about it. The charge is that Joshua is ducking Wilder, doesn't want to face him in the ring, y'know what with Wilder being this brave boxing crusader who has spent his career chasing the toughest fights possible... So the answer is 'there's a deal on the table, if he believes he can beat AJ he can take the deal, beat him twice, earn $40m and be the undisputed champion of the world'. That's going to be the answer every time he's asked this question. So every time the watching public see's that Wilder has a choice, that he could fight him, albeit on AJ's terms and that if he's really as good as he says he is and as brave and as committed to fighting the best etc all it would take is 6 months and two easy victories against the paper champion and Wilder would be the most powerful boxer in the world and making 50-100$m for the rest of his career. Eventually, even the slowest of them will get that message and start to wonder why Wilder doesn't just swallow his pride, leather AJ and take the belts and ride off into the sunset... It's a very simple message that Hearn will repeat again and again. So just stop clicking if it's driving you mad because the line isn't going to change.
The machine hasn't properly cranked up yet mate. I think the first trailer aired on the Whyte Parker card a few days ago, least that was the first I'd seen. Expect to be sick of the sight of it and others any time soon.
I remember when people on here were claiming there was no hype for Bellew v Haye 2. Nobody was talking about it etc etc and it was going to bomb. This forum is no way an indicator of how well a fight will do.
Wilder is the golden ticket for Hearns DAZN franchise. With a marque heavyweight like Wilder helping kick off the service, he will bring the US boxing fans in onto the streaming service. But it is only a window of opportunity, others will take his place if Wilder doesnt get on board. This is where Wilder is making a mistake, hes holding out hoping for more, but in 12-18 months from now, it will be less. Miller, Ruiz Jr, Kownacki, Jennings, Breazeale again, there is a long list of US heavyweights who will take Matchrooms DAZN money in a heartbeat. Miller first off on a big card in Chicago streaming on DAZN, then again vs Joshua in April 2019 aswell. Hands down Wilder has a fight in April 2019 aswell to try to steal some thunder.

Facts..AJ would probably sell out a stadium against anyone but there is no excitement over here from anyone boxing connected I know
[/QUOTE] Yawn yawn yawn yawn yawn! Tell me something I don't know FFS. Wilder wants to unify the division and Hearn is putting up bodyguards to prevent one of the biggest fights in boxing from happening and your go to defense is to bring up his past opponents. Wilder will soon have Ortiz and the real Lineal Champion Fury on his resume, two wins which trumps anything on AJ's record.

I seriously cant see Fury taking the Wilder fight so soon
How many 'casuals' were talking about Whyte v Parker? Looks like it did over 400,000 ppv buys. AJ v Povetkin is guaranteed to do double that minimum.
I know in my heart it is going to be Wilder VS Chisora, and have made a thread about it. His handlers are erect at the thought of a credible challenger how is barely six foot, has little better than average power, no discernible skill, 8 losses, and is shot besides.
I just started a new thread on this as I felt it deserved its own discussion. Just shows once more that while sites like these are good to discuss boxing, they in no way represent the people who make boxing successful, i.e. "the casuals". Dillian Whyte in this fight would have earned more than Wilder in his last 3 fights combined. Just think about that.
I wonder if we will ever find out who is actually holding up this fight. It's almost as intriguing as who would actually win out of AJ and Wilder.
i think there was more anticipation and excitement for the Takam fight than this. no one gives a **** about it over here. your choice of word (dead), is very apt
