Who is the best new heavyweight prospect? Yoka joyce hrgovic dycko dubois or someone else?

Darmani Rock is a good young dark horse. Give him a couple more years to learn and mature, but he looks like hes going to be the next best heavyweight from the US.

 

Dubois showed big improvements to his game against Little and since he's only 20 Id put him up there.

The left hook punch to the liver that floored Little was reminiscent of the shot GGG used to ko Macklin. Its rare to see a SHW land body shots as good as that.

 

It's very early days but Dubois looked pretty raw in that last outing. I hope he's getting the best training available. He looks the part physically and seems like a good character too, but when he starts moving he doesn't look like someone who belongs in the ring.

But early days an all that. Hope he does do it.

 

While I like Gorman's style and talent, he needs to work much harder as he looked at least a stone or two overweight the last time.

 

Hrgovic was taken the distance by Little. He was battered around the ring and stopped by Dubois. It was a decent performance from an 8-0 novice

Dobois fights the notoriously hard to stop Kevin Johnson next who just lost a UD to Andy Ruiz. A stoppage win will tell a lot about his potential. If he struggles then you may be right.

 

I think Arum knows Andy's capabilities very well, he won't put him with a good heavy until he gets another title shot, so I don't expect him to face any good heavies anytime soons. As for Dubois, he would beat the brakes of Andy, no hate just plain truth.

 

They call Hrgovic a prospect since 2013 or so, meanwhile look what Loma achieved in the same time. Dubois got schooled badly by Usyk. I do NOT see any potential in HW future NOW.

AJ is going to rule the division for a very long time.

 

Hrgovic against Dubois would be interesting match up, battle of styles.

I think he means sparring session. I heard that Usyk defeated him with ease, no knockdowns tough.

 

Ah. I can well believe it. Dubois looks levels below an Usyk or similar.

 

Yeah I know, in this era of chiselled abs he looks like a throwback to the heavyweights of a bygone era. He has skill though and can work on conditioning.

Besides I quite like that he looks like that fella in the pub who works doors on a weekend

Yes. There is just something about Gorman which makes him look smooth and a natural fighter. Whether he can grow and has a chin is yet to be proven but I am interested to see his progression.
