You are a funny man Dino. Tyson is nothing like Byrd, who Vitali was beating with one good working shoulder, or Johnson who he did not lose a round too...yet those are your examples?!

I would say Donald, Johnson, and Hide had plenty of foot speed.

You not only shoot from the hip, your aim is lousy, and your targets really aren't the best for a debate.

I suggest you read the Ted Sares quote on Tyson. It sums him up nicely and honestly.

 

Bruno also rocked Tyson and was close to an upset before his nerves got the best of him. Tyson's best wins are not that impressive, but his one sided losses tell us everything.

 

Chris Byrd naturally lost the early round to Vitali since he was brought in on a weeks notice and had never seen any footage on him.
Once Byrd got his rhythm and began to suss Vitali out , he made him look clumsy and buffoonish. Vitali couln't deal with his upperbody movement. Its visible to see on the tape.

Byrd sayd he was set-up with Wlad afterwards as Vitali wanted no part of the rematch.

A guy who can't beat , drop or even hurt an unprepared Byrd off the couch and ducks the rematch isn't beating any Mike Tyson. End of.

Larry Donald ?? No. He was shot and his legs were gone.
Herbie Hide was a bum no better than Bruce Seldon who Tyson annihilated.

Kingpin Johnson was another bum who stood like a statue in front of Vitali for 12 rounds straight making him look clumsy again just by showing him some basic head and upperbody movement. Vitali couldn't hit him to save his life. Its on film. Watch the fight.

Soon after a green Joshua would destroy Johnson in ONE round.

What point does the Johnson fight make? It means Vitali would be hopelessly incapable of hitting Tyson who was one of the best defensive fighters of all time.
Vitali has nothing to keep Tyson off him. Its like saying Jorge Gonzalez would beat Tyson cos Vitali was his exact replica.

 

I challenge anybody to watch this an then come back and say this guy would beat 80's Mike ..lol

Looks like Dino's Klitschko OCD has flared up again, triggered by the name "Klitschko". Cue 200 posts of Dino reinventing fights completely ...

 

I can't see Vitali lasting distance.
I think his chin is overrated, and his skin is fragile - if he could take some of Tyson's punches however, his skin could not.
So I'll say Tyson KO or TKO cause of cuts.

 

People don't get how good Tyson was. They say he had trouble with big guys. Trouble meaning that they went the distance but still lost almost every round.
Tyson, for a short time, was so good that giving him trouble simply meant getting beat up for longer, not actually winning.

And yeah this might sound outrageous but any decent version of tucker and Douglas both look leagues. LEAGUES above Vitali on film. And anyone truly unbiased would agree that they make him look uncoordinated, slow and clumsy like a drunk.

And before you accuse me of racial bias, I think an inshape prime Tyson fury is twice as good as any other heavyweight in the world today.
the HW division has been an uncoordinated bunch of awkward Giants ever since the late 90s/early 2000s, with a few exceptions like Wlad, Fury and Ortiz.
The fact that most of the top HWs in the late 90s had all peaked years earlier tells you all you need to know, and it only got worse from there.

 

Wlad also makes Vitali Look uncoordinated, slow and clumsy.

I'll quickly deal with this notion of yours.

Douglas and Vitali Klitschko have a common opponent, whom they fought within a year of each other. This film exists. I will show this film to you.

Here's Douglas labouring to a decision win against Dicky Ryan in a sloppy, mauling affair where Ryan managed to land plenty of leather on Douglas with his telegraphed haymakers, and even buckled Douglas' legs with a wild shot near the end of the 3rd:

Here's the "uncoordinated" guy who is, according to you, "slow and clumsy like a drunk" putting a total beatdown on Ryan. Adjectives like "pulverised" and "massacred" and sentences like "Ryan barely laid a glove on him" come to mind. But, don't take my word for it:

I repeat, with evidence: Klitschko was levels above guys like Douglas and Tucker.

 

I think critiquing Vitalis resume is silly. Who did Tyson beat? His resume isn't terribly impressive either and consists of guys like Tubbs Tucker Smith etc.

The gulf in talent and speed overcomes the gulf in size. Tyson wins by clear UD or late TKO. Vitali just too slow to beat a prime Tyson.

 

Are you posting these comparisons tongue in cheek, BC8? If not, your last two posts completely eliminate your credibility on this topic. You can't pick performances from a fighter whose career is almost finished and equate it with a fighter in his prime. Both Tucker and Douglas were TOTALLY FINISHED as elite fighters at the time of those clips.
