I never said it was a fact.

I said it was highly unlikely based on how Joe handled his career.

If he only had 2 fights out of 46 at LHW and he wouldn't fight Dawson etc, then realistically, he wouldn't have moved up to have fought Sergey Kovalev. No, I can't prove that. But I'd have bet my house on it. A guy who starves himself to fight Mario Veit twice, isn't going to move up for Kovalev. That's a logical opinion, again, based on how his career played out.

Regarding Andre Ward, no I don't think he would have travelled to the U.K. for the fight.

Why do you keep mentioning Bernard Hopkins?

Well Hopkins was Kovalevs best win that made him this unbeatable killer in Ward fans frame of mind.

However Ward would have ducked Calzaghe as he was terrified of leaving the US.

 

And so have I .

Ward never travelled/left the US.

Calzaghe was bigger than Ward in their respective country.

Ward ducked Stevenson in Canada and Froch in Nottingham.

Ward would never have fought Calzaghe....He's **** scared of leaving Jokeland.

 

Some people definitely overhyped Kovalev. But that happens all the time. The same thing has happened with GG.

Regarding Andre-Joe, it depends what the circumstances were.

Andre doesn't like to travel, but if there hadn't have been a Super Six and Joe had've still reigned as champ, he'd have had to have made concessions.

Joe himself only left Europe twice in 15 years.

Although Andre may not have wanted to have travelled, I don't think he'd have swerved Joe out of a fear of losing to him.

He didn't push for it.

Andre had already easily beaten him with a fractured hand. So he was never going to travel to Nottingham. But do you really think that meant that he feared fighting him again?

Therefore the fight would never happen as JC shouldn't concede to the b side....the fight would never happen due to Ward.
