Is Froch Wards best win?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it adds to the gaiety of the nation. I don’t think anyone thinks Froch with his technical limitations is better than Kessler. The fact is Ward spanked both of them period. I rated Kovalev and Kessler wins higher than Froch because they are better fighters. Froch never tried to get a rematch with Ward rather he behaved like a ***** bitching about Ward.

 

I think you'd probably find that quite a lot of people think Froch is better to be honest

 

He's only doing that so he can say Joe's win over Kessler was better than Andre's. It's like Faux News, a nugget of truth spun and spun in order to advance an obvious, and false, agenda.

 

Perhaps some Brits and especially people in Nottingham such as Froch’s brother, is his name Lee or something. My point is that guys like Kessler, Kovalev and Dawson were better technical fighters than Froch. I am not denigrating Froch but to say he is Ward’s best win is stretching it. One of them yes but not the best. Virgil Hunter told you what he would do to Froch and the truth is Froch had no clue what to do when they got in there. He found out that not only was Ward more talented he was also the stronger tougher man. Now Froch is someone who trades on his strength and toughness and found himself against someone better.

I have no doubt Kessler was better technically, but again it isn't all about that, as I'm sure you know.

Yeah no arguments that he was beaten by a better man against Ward, just as Kessler was, comprehensively.

I think its going a little bit far to say its only Brits who rate him above Kessler being truthful. In fact if you did a poll here I'd be fairly confident he'd come out on top. Not that that matters, the majority doesn't mean its correct anyway.

Nah not quite. Those points are very sound.

As I said before, a case could be made arranging/ranking any of the three of them in any order. He made a case and it's fair.

He does a very good job of using boxrec to support his points. There's no doubt.

That research being done to further an agenda is also beyond doubt.

But I do think Ward has several quality wins worth discussing and debating.

 

I am not conceding anything. My job is not to denigrate Froch rather it’s to point out why the other guys I mentioned are better.

 

A great great fighter. A master arguably the greatest super middleweight in the history of the sport. We don’t have the issues we have with Calzaghe when it comes to Ward because he faced and defeated a murderous list of opponents. People obviously try to rewrite history to the effect I am now reading some saying Kovalev was not that great etc but the truth is he had wrecked everyone until he fought Ward.
