Hrgovic's is very sturdy, Kuzmin's appears to be too, and the only time I recall seeing Tishchenko hurt and down was against Levit.

Maijidov's was iron, don't recall ever seeing him hurt.

Thought you'd know more about this.

Yeah I know Teslenko's stoppages were more to due with accumulation, I've seen one or maybe two of them.

Levit's got a good chin, seen him take big shots from noted punchers and he took them no problems.

Supposedly Dubois was dropped in sparing with Hrgovic. Dobois is so young, he didn't have a long amateur background.

I come from the school of though that chins are best graded when hit cleanly, and how a fighter reacts to the blow, even if he doesn't go down can be telling. To get a real feel of how hard some of these guys hit, you have to see them live or hold the heavy bag when they are hitting it.

Based on what I saw, early chin grades:

Yoka - C+ Average chin, doesn't react well when hit. Can be hurt by one or two shot medium punchers.

Joyce - B- Slightly better than average, it will take a puncher to hurt him.

Hrgovic - A Took bombs, hardly flinched even when he was very young vs grown men at super heavyweight

Dychko - B Better than average. He fought many quality punchers, only the best stopped him and he was winning that fight.

Dubois - INC grade. Never saw him get hit clearly. He hails from the Isle of glass jaw so.... only kidding.

Gorman - B- Tested by whom?

Jalolov - B- He doesn't react well to be when hits and retreats quickly instead of fighting back. Could be a courage thing. Quite a puncher though.

    Sirenko - B- Nothing special.

Teslenko- C- The weakest on the list

Rock C+. Not that hard to hurt or floor

Ajagba - INC Didn't see him enough to grade. INC

Makhumudov - B to B+ you didn't list him, but I've see him take some hard punches from Nistor which isn't easy.

Kuzmin - B+ to A- You did not list him. This bear like man can take a punch well.

Majidov has been stopped in AIBA Pro competition who no longer exists more than 2 years ago and it was big KO and Arjoui was the man who did it. I saw the highlights of the fight.

Yeah I heard that rumour about Hrgovic dropping Dubuis in sparring or at least bashing him up but I have no idea if there is any truth to it

Yoka's chin is very fragile IMO

Yeah I agree for the most part with your rankings, although I think Joyce is or at least was a bit more in the amateurs just too easy to hit.

Nistor wobbled and hurt Makhumudov in the WSB (IIRC) but the later's beard appears to be sturdy and Nistor can crack as can Makumudov.

Dubois has never been even stunned in amateurs but who has he face, so I'm reluctant about his chin. But he was defeated by two Polish guys in ams. One was Werzbicki who is pro also. But I still had a chance to see them before somebody removed those fights from youtube and you send guess who that was, LOL. Both fights were Dubois lost to two Polish guys was taken from youtube, LOL.

There was a footage, they removed it because of copyrights issues but I saw the highlights and Majidov was losing heavily before he was ko'd. He wanted to retire some time after but that wasn't because of stoppage but because he wanted to move and quit boxing. He wanted to retire in 2017 but changed his mind because he wants Olympic gold and retire than. After that KO he never was dropped or stopped.

News to me. Too bad Majidov didn't go pro. He had very good potential. Based on what I saw he took a good punch.

Are there any fight reports about it you know of? I looked on their respective records on Scoop but I couldn't find anything other than Majidov beating him on points in 2016. But I don't think they list any type of pro bouts on there.

Well, he had an offers by both Hearn's but and that was years ago and others like World of Boxing but he opted to stay in amateurs, I think he don't like the pro game. But he would have isues turning pro because by his own words he wouldn't want to travel outside Azerbaijan too much, he mentioned only Russia were he would likely travel for his pro fights because of homesickness and VISA rules in Azerbaijan, he said this in an interview he done some time ago.

I think no because AIBA PRO was disbanded because it wasn't successful enough but it was an official fight. Arjoui was second best in that season of AIBA PRO.
