Gervonta Davis ducking Berchelt?

Doubt it. I get why he wouldn't want to fight Loma but he'd beat Berchelt pretty comfortably imo. Better skills and faster.

That would be a shame. Tank is definitely on my must see list. Wish he would fight more. Have liked what I've seen from Berchelt as well. Make the fight.

 

Berchelt is a good fighter, but he seems inconsequential. He needs a promoter who speaks English.

Neither Berchelt nor Davis fight anyone worth a damn. And these are the 2 that people say Loma ducked? Davis will move up only to continue ducking Loma and on top of that will duck Linares and Easter and anyone else who poses a threat. While Berchlet will continue to fight no one of note.

 

WBA is a joke. They did not only rob Alberto Machado of his top position in WBA championship hierachy by giving it to the winner of match between two ranked fighters lower than him, but also let Tank Davis keeping his title comfortably by not ordering him a mandatory fight against Machado.

If there's someone who should and deserved to fight Tank in this weight class is Alberto Machado.

Berchelt makes so much sense for Davis. Would be stupid to move up without fighting him. Another belt, an exciting fight, and a fight he should be confident he wins. Sure Berchelt is a solid puncher, but Davis is an even harder puncher, and he's much faster. Davis's explosiveness would get the classic boxer-puncher Berchelt off his rhythm.

Farmer though would be a completely different task for Davis and I think schools him! I think the three are rock/paper/scissors, with Davis beating Berchelt, Farmer beating Davis, but Berchelt beating Farmer. Love the styles contrasts in any of the matches. They all need to get it on.

I saw a pic of him at the club recently. He was looking fat.

Fighters do blow up in between bouts you know, some blow up bad.

 

Machado would have little chance against Tank.

 

I doubt it will happen though. Davis is a natural Lightweight who struggles to make 130. Hes too big for the division and often times comes in over 130.

Also Davis is a protected fighter by FMJ. He doesnt want Davis in the ring with any top fighter in their prime. Though Davis is way more badass than FMJ and would fight anybody. But he has no control over who he fights.

Also Berchelt doesnt speak English and is not very well known. Hes too risky.

Davis should fight Loma at 135 in Baltimore. At the Horseshoe Casino. That would be a huge fight.
