Well this was probably the dumbest response I've seen in a long time. What exactly was the point of this response or the meaning? Heart pills take away from athletic performance?
Heart pills=detriment to athletic performance due to low pulse. Stop taking them and you can perform normally.
Dude you literally have no idea what you are talking about. High blood pressure especially chronic hurts performance and is dangerous.
I’m a doctor. Ortiz was on a beta blocker. Already explained it. Taking him off of it before a fight would help athtletic performance, dude.
Bull he is in the hypertension range and was almost not even cleared to fight due to it if you were really a doctor would you tell somebody chronically hypertensive to stop taking their medicine to engage in physical activity.
Blood pressure and pulse go extremely high when exercising, for anyone. If you take a drug that keeps your pulse low, you might pass out. The point of the medications is to keep his blood pressure and pulse lower when resting or walking around.
Match making is so hard today, nobody really wants to say I'm the best by fighting. They just use their mouths, if AJ wanted to prove he's better than Wilder the fight would've been made period. Do you think Mike Tyson,Sonny Liston , George Foreman or Frazier would have let another fighter stroll around calling himself the champ?
And I repeat you claim to be a doctor would you tell a patient with chronic hypertension to get off of their blood pressure meds before physical activity.
Absolute garbage first it's Wilder hasn't achieved anything and is overrated despite winning an Olympic medal becoming a world champ and winning all his fights. Ortiz is apparently overrated because he hasn't won a world title lol.
Sure that's your criteria and it seems everybody has there own but the idea of this sport,at the elite level at least is about beating everybody who is put in front of you, winning world titles and earning as much $ as you can. While you may have a point that some of his opposition could be better,it's crazy saying Wilder has achieved little in his career when so far as an amateur he has won an Olympic medal,as a pro becoming a world champ while remaining undefeated and is now on the verge of getting a payday that sets him up for life.
