Exactly, if Fury feels he's ready then get the fight made instead of waiting 2+ years for AJ. Whoever wins then has a genuine case for being the best in the world.

Any update on the 1% not done from Mr Fish?

Is it still 1%, moved to 0.000001% or totally off?

He needs to beat Pianetta first. The 1% represents the chance Pianetta has of winning.

With Wilder sitting Ringside I would be hoping for some WWE style action after the fight.

Your post has got me thinking. Fair play for delivering such a well structured case.

For this week Fury is having an individual press conference.

Any chance they will announce the Wilder fight during this? Seems strange to give him a seperate one all together.

Realistically they won’t announce anything until after the fight.

Nothing further will be said until after Fury's fight. Isn't Wilder going to be ringside?

The fact of the matter is that Tyson Fury does not regard, and never has regarded Deontay Wilder as anything special as a fighter at all.
The recent hype and re-appraisal of Wilder as some sort of near-unbeatable monster hasn't infected Tyson Fury.

Fury is bigger, stronger and a better boxer.
Wilder is a dangerous puncher but not much else. He's light and a bit skinny and routinely gets outboxed. He relies on landing the knock out punch and may well do that against Fury too, but there's no reason for Fury to think so.
If Fury gets back to 70 or 80% of what he was against Wlad, why shouldn't he figure himself to beat Wilder ?
Likewise, Wilder has every reason to be confident too. 40 fights, 39 KOs.

That's why this is a good fight.
