youre just looking at a snapshot in boxing traffic. japan is also riding a nice wave at the moment, a couple more world talents and you would be making this thread about them... if this thread wasnt about massaging your ego of course.
ukraine is much more populous than puerto rico, cuba, is similar to britain and almost identical to argentina. like i said, ukraine is representing well currently.
Besides what’s already been mentioned, I think it’s because boxing is as popular in Ukraine as the NFL is in US. They really got two main sports over there, soccer or boxing. With Klitschkos having major success in boxing, it makes sense to see a wave of other successful boxers from Ukraine.
Nothing but good old traditions and passion for the sport. Like any country that excels in a particular competition it’s built on strong foundation, interest and generational reinforcement. There’s nothing in the water lol.
Well you see after the Chernobyl accident, they all get super mutant powers and that's why they are so successful and skilled.
Now the dilemma is, should they be allowed to compete? I mean it’s pretty unfair to compete against radioactive athletes that have had their genetics modified by nuclear radiation. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lomachenko one day accidentally unleashed laser beams from his fingers.
I'm also asking myself this question and like how do they pass the doping tests? I bet everytime someone like a Lomacheko or Usyk are required to pee in a cup, their urine melts through cup.
