Usyk's former trainer James Ali Bashir on Usyk vs AJ, Usyk vs Bellew and Usyk vs Donkey Timestamped This content is protected
I dont know yet. Im sure he can make an impact in the division he is technically better than all of them but the best guys know how to make use of the physical advantages they could have over him, Joshua knows how to use his jab and is pretty good with his feet and for a heavyweight isnt that sluggish, when Uysk gets into range there is no way in the world Joshua is getting the better of it but Joshua should have the size and the skill to keep him at bay for portions of the fight and he is pretty heavy handed too. Would be great to see though.
AJ you idiot. You've never seen Usyk have you casual? That would take too much time away from your favorite hobby. Wouldn't it?
I think it will take him longer than that. I could even see a real bad, debatable UD win like he had over Parker. But with his length and power, he's going to make Usyk fight awkwardly, and there's no way Usyk can hurt him or do a clear enough job of out boxing him that AJ won't get a decision in the UK.
I could actually see Usyk winning majority of rounds but also getting dropped multiple times to make the scoring very difficult. I think Joshua drops him whenever he lands but Usyk might get up and survive.
If Usyk can get him to respect his power (which is unknown) then Joshua will be struggling to get air. Then he's in major trouble.
Usyk walks through Joshua's overrated power and proceeds to giving him a boxing lesson and a beating of his life.
