Comes down to PBC and their shrinking funds, they can only afford to pay so many of their bigger name fighters more than once a year. When the budget opens back up at the start of the new year (Jan-May) you will see them fight on Showtime.
And that is the worst thing for a young fighter. One thing i give FlIVd a ton of credit for is no matter how much money he made he was dedicated to his craft and never gave any sign that he anything other than ready and in tip top shape for all his fights. The exception may be the Conor fight which he obviously didnt need to be at his peak to win.
True, but of late it's not too bad though, we have Saunders-Andrade Jacobs-Derevyanchenko Canelo-GGG II Murata-Quigley Lemieux-O'Sullivan all made. A lot of those guys were thinking of hanging around waiting for a big shot but once Canelo-GGG II got made that went out the window.
He’s the Middleweight divisions version of Baby Miller, whilst the rest are fighting each other he does nothing.
Once a year against top 20 guys won't get the job done if he's really trying to position himself as the top challenger. As Kiwi noted, the rest of the division is squaring it off to make their case for the payday....and that's how it should be.
You're a moron. GGG has fought every possible opponent he could have that is relevant (charlo excluded) at 160 and would have already closed the chapter on ***-nelo if gay Oscar had've let him come out and play 2 years ago. Your chiding of GGG fighting bums is old, stale and sounds like some CNN news. Get a job there kiddo.
