I don't rate Bernard's win over Oscar, especially as he got a gift against Sturm. But how can you say he was a blown up LW? What's all that about? He was a proven WW and JMW, who fought at LW when he was younger.

Tito also wasn't a blown up WW.

Stop being silly. Otherwise I'll say that Canelo lost to a blown up SFW in Floyd.

Realistically, he would have had losses had he have followed Bernard's exact timeline. But would Bernard have endured any had he have followed GG's?

Yes but you're gathering answers that hyperbolic.

The only guy I can see that would be favoured over Golovkin on Hopkins' MW run is Jones Junior. Hopkins may have been able to replicate Golovkin's run but it just takes one bad night against a Jacobs, Canelo, Murray etc to get the L. I can only speculate.

"u trying to say ggg is superior to monzon?" -

obviously this is your interpretation of a hyperbolic reply, yourself not noticing it wasnt hyperbolic, but it was underlining the point Mendozas was.

Keep writing the opposite of the facts, its something you excel at.

Yes, and it works both ways.

Also, Bernard fought Taylor in his 40's.

I'm with you on the gift win vs Strum. Oscar, who's power went away once he moved up in class was lucky vs Strum.

Didn't Oscar start out at lightweight? That's why I said blown up light weight.

Yes, he started out a LW, but a guy who had good-great wins at WW and JMW, can't be labelled a "blown up LW"

    It's just silly and disrespectful.

What if I said that GG struggled with a JMW who got beaten by a blown up SFW?

GGG is a nice guy. He's brought fans to the sport. We love puncher s(boxing fans) especially when they have an understated skill set to with his power. Then they become real stars. I've enjoyed watching him work.

Hopefully the fans won't come down on him too hard when Canelo stops him next month. He's 36 probably not as quick as he once was. He still made a good contribution.

The greater / better fighter is usually determined by the rematch. Canelo made the adjustments like a true ATG.

Golovkin will be known for coming up short against the best he faced. Harsh but true.

I thought he won the rematch more clearly if anything.

Going forward doesn't count for anything when you're getting hit more.
