Why? Would GG's reach suddenly have gotten bigger? Would his defense have suddenly got better? Would Roy's skills and speed have suddenly declined?
Clearly being off the sauce makes a difference, look at Canelo. He looks like an inflatable toy that had all the air let out of it. VADA RJJ would probably be slower with less stamina, yes.
GGG can't even beat much smaller Gasnelo or Danny Jacobs, RJJ would make him look like a bum. Levels.
Nobody has enough information on Roy to say what he had, at what point, and for how long for, if he'd taken anything at all. It's all conjecture. If you look back to when he was really young, he had incredible hand speed and reflexes. Whilst I'm not ignorant to think that PEDS don't make a difference, they aren't magic. To claim that GG would have swallowed a clean version of Roy is pure fantasy This is the real world, not an avenger movie.
Tough one to call. The way GGG closes the distance with his footwork I think could nullify alot of Jones speed and force him to have to trade more. Against GGG that would put Jones in the type of fight that I dont think would suit him
3G , I amnot sure how he can deal with that kind of accuracy and speed, its going to hurt him but not stop him. His best bet is chasing a hail mary ko. But like I say, lets see how he fares with some elites + ATGS on his resume, then judge him. He will be facing them sooner than you think.
I think Golovkin is technically sound enough with good enough fundamentals and a hard enough punch to give anybody at MW a hard night at the office and I include RJJ. I agree that RJJ looked freakishly good at his peak. I suspect that Golovkin might have the firepower to wear him down but there's no way of knowing whether he could crack that chin or if he'd get lumped up himself. You have to favour RJJ (and he's one of the very few MW that I would favour over GGG H2H) but imo Golovkin has a decent shot at the win. Your own mileage may vary.
