One week before AJ v Povetkin. I just don't see people paying for both and not forgetting one is on at 4am.

Just realised Groves v Smith will be week after AJ.

Thats 3 PPV's in three weeks. Jurgen will be going mental.

I think BT will be lucky to do 100 thousand buys. Would that be good business for them?

What price you think it will be £14.99?

That would be very good. That's what a WWE ppv does over here

Looking forward to hearing Jurgen's reaction to this !

Seriously though the first fight was an absolute boreathon with both 'fighters' refusing to take any risks and trying to nick the fight on points while doing the bare minimum and they're charging 15 quid for the privilege of watching the sequel ???

    Boycott this ****.

As long as it's on, that's the main thing. It:s scheduled to have a very good under card. AJ can be watched in a bar or club, while the Groves fight has been diminished with Smith's incredibly easy ride into the final. A good British title fight at best.

Without the AJ ppv I would say its possible but if people have a choice to make I'm not convinced they choose the fight at 4am

Surely this means that Khabib vs McGregor will be on PPV, that fight is going to do 500k+ buys for BT.

McGregor is a household name in the UK, on a similar level to Joshua.

I loved the fight, watched it 3 times now. I didn’t think it was boring at all, it was brilliant. Round 5 was sublime. Two of the best technical fighters of our generation, it was hardly going to be a slog fest bud.

Pretty sure Mcgregors number have been a lot higher than that.

AJ and Connor are a very similar level popularity wise.

Would be shocked if BT decided to go down PPV route for UFC. The deal is up in December and I don't see them switching to PPV now.

As for Conner being on the same level as AJ as a draw in the UK. Nah I not buying that. He is popular yes but he not on AJ level.

No chance he could sell out Wembley for a UFC fight.

Think BT have hit 300,000 for McGregor fights on BT sport. Remember that is not PPV though.

UFC PPV is untested in the UK

Canelo-GGG on BT Sport Box Office...

Surely then, Fury-Wilder isn't happening? The PPV would be hurt too much if they did both of those events while Conor-Khabib and Joshua-Povetkin are also happening in a similar timeframe. If they are doing Canelo-GGG, then where on earth does Wilder-Fury fit in? Yes it would be in november/december and that's a few months gap, but still, is there enough space for it?

Well then we clearly have different tastes, I just re-watched a few rounds of GGG-Canelo on Youtube and I nearly fell asleep, absolute snoozefest.
