Fair assessment by Carl. 50/50 fight. Bellew is better than anyone Usyk has fought as a pro and Bellew is a much better puncher than Gassiev. Usyk can also be mechanical at times, which can work in Bellew's favor, but on the otherhand Bellew tends to get sloppy, which cost him in the Stevenson fight and almost in the Makabu fight.
Bellew better than briedus and gassiev. Based on beating an old haye ? Bellew is sooooooo overrated and even though he is a good fighter he has had superb matchmaking over past 3 years

A 36 yr old Bellew that was a B- level LHW who only just beat a CW Cleverly & who almost got kayoed by small CW Makabu in 1 round is better than Usyks opposition?? He only just edged out Masternak too! What are u smoking? Bellew has faced nothing close to a Breidis, Gassiev or even a Glowacki... Haye now is nothing but a self aggrandizing, semi retired cat walk model who whores himself around the media desperate for the limelight! He is the definition of 'shot'... He can't generate any power or even fight off the back foot anymore! Riddled with injury, inactive, no explosiveness, he'd have been blitzed in that tournament.. He was totally shot! Roy Jones type shot too.. I don't see anything TB has that will trouble the skills & footwork of a peak Usyk! Bellew isn't as bad as some think but he's not an elite CW..
Froch was the voice of reason when he blamed Hearn for Joshua v Wilder not happening. (The joke and reference he made about 'Everything is Hearn's fault', actually flew over peoples heads). Now, he's gonna be accused of towing the Pro-Matchroom line. IMO, Usyk is a level above Bellew.... But Froch is entitled to his opinion.
Much better. Briedis has beat nobody. Mike Perez and Charr are garbage. The only good name on his resume is Huck, who was at least 4-5 years last his prime. Gassiev has a very close win over an old Lebdev. The rest of his resume is extremely weak. Bellew would've made easy work of Dorticos, who has no chin or power. If Bellew has a padded record than so does Usyk. Usyk's best wins Glowacki - Has wins over a shot Cunningham and a shot Huck. Mchunu - Overrated southpaw with no chin that would lose to all of the top fighters at 175. He got destroyed by Makabu, who Bellew later flattened. Hunter - A Novice fighter. Good athlete, but has poor defense and awful timing. I see Bellew knocking him out early. Huck - Excellent fighter about 4-5 years ago, but was shot when Usyk fought him. Briedis - Overrated. His best win is a shot Huck. He also has a win over Mike Perez, a guy that couldn't cut it at heavyweight and Charr, who was completely destroyed by a 41 year old injury-riddled Vitali. Gassiev - Strong and young, but very slow and very one dimensional. Has very little mobility and walks into right hands. Gets too much credit for his win over Dorticos, who I knew was garbage after his fight with Miranda, a guy Bellew destroyed. Bellew would've stopped Gassiev, since Gassiev blocks right hands with his face, which won't work against a puncher like Bellew.
Bellew isn't even a Top 4 win for Usyk (Hunter, Huck, Briedis, Gassiev). Usyk will jab his disgusting head off ffs. Bellew is a clown. Usyk would win 10 out of 10 vs Bellew.

Gassiev and Breidis do a number on him and the University of Liverpool are probably going to give Usyk an honorary doctorate for the schooling he delivers should Bellew be stupid enough to actually agree to find him.
