Incidentally, Steve Bunce has penned quite the hit piece on St John in the UK's Independent. To be fair to him, I can see why he feels the need to indemnify "his" industry as a journo, but to just to dismiss her input out of hand, whilst essentially ridiculing her is not doing anything to address the issue.

Yeah this is disgusting and also why people are never going to come out about this. The ****ed up thing is that boxers, trainers, nutritionists etc have all came out and said PED usage is fairly common but here we have guys like this dismissing her claims. It's so stupid too. Why are you going to believe that she does steroids but think she is lying about her gymmates doing it as well?

 

Look at Wlad, wilder, lewis look at any other heavyweight , nobody had such a weird looking midsection, that’s from HGH and that’s why he looks like a stuffed sausage. When I was 16-19 I used to do crunches with 32kg’s on my chest and was obsessed about abs and midsection in general ,took anadrol and bunch of other sheet, but you don’t get that from clean exercising ,or a bit of roids, you need a good amounts of hgh.

 

I would be more surprised if someone was actually clean in boxing.

 

When there's considerable money on the table, people will always cheat, whether it's drugs or not.

In every sport, in any way, people will cheat. Individually, the level of cheating will vary, with the occasional clean ( in the case of boxing ) combatant. But most will cheat and in boxing, the best way to cheat is to take drugs. It's really that simple.

Like most sports, many fans are loathe to accept it, as you then are faced with abandoning or at least diminishing your heroes.

 

Been pretty much like that ever since Mackie Shilstone put his "modern nutrition" in the sport in the early 80's and they went viral in the sport. It was more of an outsider thing until then.

This chick here...if U can stand to watch, 2nd round is pretty dominant. She had better footwork, accurate punches and better power than Mia. Crowd bood the heck of of the decision.
