Ronnie Clark has pulled out of his scheduled fight. Does this mean he will be Bowens opponent for the Leicester card? If so, it really will have some class domestic scraps
Good fight this -- Ronnie did well against Barrett so will be confident. So far so good with bowen but this will be his biggest test by far
This would be a cracking fight. I've seen Bowen about 4 times now and was there when he won the British. He will be beaten by a good boxer but he's massive, hard as fck and very fit. He's the ritson of sfw.
You could be right actually. Just saw recently he had been ordered to fight Bowen for the British Belt.
Looking forward to watching Clark again after his 2 performances on TV. He looked very tentative in his fight against Ward but come on very strong in the later rounds as his confidence grew. Simply an absolute cracking performance against Zelfa Barrett in a very god fight to watch.
Terrific fight this if it comes off - Bowen is a serious serious prospect and Ronnie is in good form.
Absolutely buzzing for Ronnie and his team, loads will see Ronnie as the underdog in the fight but that is a tag that Ronnie thrives on and imo this could be fight of the year
Yes at the minute he has a broken hand but I'm pretty sure they have until end of 2018 to fight so the hand injury shouldn't be a problem if the fight is later in the year
This is a fight Ronnie could win but he would have to be a lot more tactful than I've seen him in previous fights. Bowen is used to southpaws unlike zelfa, Bowen had over a 100 am fights, he knows southpaws and throws the correct shots...He also had a big k.o rate in his wins in the arms. There is a style to beat Bowen, you have to pump that jab out and move, he struggles somewhat then. If Ronnie trys to ruff Bowen up he will come out 2nd best.
