I'll be rooting for Andrade. Great guy, very personable. I've been a fan of his for some time.

But he's been inactive, he hasn't fought anybody with the foot work of BJS.

(Note, I'm relatively new here but will often pick fights based on foot work. Distance, movement, etc. Overlooked aspect of boxing, IMO.)

before DL all of saunders key wins were questionable. it might be smoke and mirrors that his cardio is now his biggest strength this fight is the lie dector to see how good he is, if he wins this fight in any fashion then he's the goods to me.

Not in my opinion, I scored them all on here as fairly comfortable wins, its just that Saunders usually wins the first 6 or 7 rounds with such ease, that when he takes his foot off the gas after he has it tied up, and his opponents start doing better, people tend to want to give them more credit than they actually deserve. The only issue he had was a tendency to coast after getting the win on the cards, and his gastank, well he rectified that in his last two performances.

Saunders by Decision. He's more proven at this point.

Judging from the results here, I'm going to make a killing. This will be Fury Klitschko all over again.

You're right, it will be. Andrade will barely touch Saunders, as Billy Joe boxes circles around him.

I got Andrade. Doing a 50 dollar bet with @qwertyblahblah on this. Only thing I'm worried about is the weight. But I just think BJS is being way overhyped for beating a crude Lemieux. Charlo and Jacobs would have beat him even more clear.

I expect to see a Saunders UD, but closer on the cards as how the actual fight went.

Of course there's a chance that Andrade pulls a Saunders and shows a level that we haven't seen before, but I doubt it.

I think Andrade's actually the trickiest matchup in the division for Saunders... but he's still taking this!

Andrade has good offensive technique and punch selection, he's a good defender especially in close, and he comes forward and is pretty active with his jab so won't be giving rounds away. Saunders however has the much faster feet, commits to that lateral movement, has the clear edge in hand speed, and he's a great 12 round boxer.

If Saunders doesn't stick to his strengths Andrade will trouble him and could outland him. But I trust his smarts and resourcefulness over Andrade's boxing iq, especially with Andrade being inactive and not used to making quick decisions in the heat of a close fight. Saunders may not be the better attacker, but he should be the one who decides WHEN to attack better. That should be decisive in a match between two skilled boxers who won't expose themselves too much.

And I don't worry about Saunders being cocky, his arrogance is really a good thing, in the ring it means he refuses to let his opponent get the upper hand. That mental strength coupled with his twinkle toes speed and movement is why I think he outboxes the very good boxer Andrade.

Oh so Saunders outboxing Andrade will mean nothing because Andrade's not a middleweight. I see you already have the excuses ready. :nonono

I have never been that impressed by Andrade. He has looked solid the times I've seen him, but not exceptional. The Saunders that so befuddled Lemieux looked pretty damn capable. True it was only Lemieux, but still Saunders was impressive that night. I'll give benefit of the doubt that an equally prepared Saunders shows up and go with him by decision.

It won't mean nothing. But the reason I think you got all excited for this bet is because Andrade is an inactive LMW moving up. I'm assuming BJS is the favorite, since you're being a ***** about it we should do the bet on vegas odds not even odds. Don't get me wrong I still favor Andrade. But not the same why I favored Jacobs, Charlo and Murata. Which was what I offered as a bet. And this will BJS best win by far. But it wouldn't have been as good as a Jacobs, Charlo, or Murata win.

No but his performance in Canada was duly noted and drew comparisons with Floyd ect from channels like Joe Rogan who does know a thing about boxing.
You sensed against Lemieux he wasn’t remotely scared of losing and has more in the tank, yet to see him hurt as well.
