Why blame Povetkin for PEDS when all top athletes take them?

He's trying to admit that he killed someone. He has like 3 bodies. You better watch Herol, man. Lock your doors, protect your wife and kids. He's on the hunt.

We dont want drugs in the sport so if somebody gets caught then he is going to be to blame for that. Wilder and Joshua havnt been caught and both get regulary tested. Cant believe you call 2 proven clean fighters drugs cheats and ask us to get off the back of a supposed drugs cheat.

This strikes me as a very charitable interpretation of events. At minimum, please point us in the direction of the shoddy UCLA work. All I see for support is the Arnold & Porter brief filed with the court on Povetkin's behalf, which I very much hope you are not relying upon for support.

They destroyed the B-sample for the the Ostarine and had their credentials suspended because of their mismanagement of the case lmao.

At this stage I feel like legalizing PEDs may be the most honorable way to go because it seems like the moneybags are using PED testing as another way to control outcomes and rig the game. On the other hand, people like Tyler Hamilton have a point that if we allow these PEDs...what honor does sport even have?

The solution is somehow regulating sport so it's an honorable league competition where outcomes are not dominated by capital accumulation...but in general it's difficult to accomplish this in capitalist society. As is the case with other problems, the structure of our economic system is the source of our maladies. No professional sport can remain pure and unaffected.

Whew nooo that is NOT the move. Okay so, even though most people in sports use PEDs currently or have done say in the past even if you just rely on testing by the state athletic commission that is enough to make it a bit less rampant. Allowing it entirely puts the sport in a position where fatalities are going to be very common and because of what these chemicals do you to and the way they allow you to perform you would also be putting the fighter's families in danger. As for the integrity of the sport matches are then decided by who has the better chemist instead of who has the most skill. PEDs should not be allowed and users should be punished. We're in a bad state now, and we will always be in one, but the answer is more stringent testing and harsher punishment. Not legalization.

Anyone who claims that ALL high level athletes are NOT on PED's has no personal connection to high level sports. Period.

Probably that one. Didn't bother reading it. Literally the first thing that came up when I googled "UCLA lab suspended povetkin ostarine"

They have their credentials back as it was only a 3 month ban but the fact they got suspended and that other labs when testing didn't find this substance shows they handled the situation poorly.
