Ah - so this thread of yours was always about your love for Gennady, after all then. Indeed, "no such actions" akin to beating all time great middleweights have happened for Golovkin. They did for Monzon though... - Griffith is an ATG Middleweight and Pound-for-Pound ATG (twice beaten by Monzon) - Benvenuti is an ATG Middleweight (twice Knocked out by Monzon) - Napoles is a Pound-for-Pound ATG (Monzon puts paid to an unwise move to 160, for this legend) Alvarez is not an ATG Middleweight (neither is Jacobs nor is Lemieux, for that matter) and he cannot muster the stuff of greatness to put the upstart, emphatically in his place. Newsflash… …Monzon beat better Middleweights than Golovkin drew with.
Not so fast you asked me to show you where Moznon lost to lesser fighter than GGG beat, and I did that beyond a shadow of a doubt. He lost and drew many times, and was floored by lesser men. FACT. No such action every happened to GGG, who by the way is not the central point of the thread, but its clear Jacobs or Lemieux who you listed were better than the likes of many of Monzon's looses or draws. You know I am correct on this point, just admit it, or start a separate thread asking if those who beat and drew with Monzon were better. Quick prediction, you won't go there. I also asked you what a win over shorter, and older jr welters, and welters means for a natural middle weight? No reply here. Alvarez is far heavier on fight night than Griffith or Naples were, and MUCH younger I might also add. If you continue to ignore facts, numbers ( Height, weight, age ) , that is your choice. I choose not to be blindfolded. I see an older guy beating younger guys in GGG, and a mostly younger guy beating older guys moving up 2-3 weight classes in Monzon. FACT. I also see a guy who passed Monzon in title defenses at middle weight ( FACT ) , and judging on how he took a punch from blown up jr welter or welters would be in trouble if he fought a natural middle with the size, power and jab quality of GGG. ( Opinion based on Monzon's results )
can you point out where he asked this BEFORE you brought GGG into it? At present it looks like YOU brought him up.
Oh he asked for that data and has been in denial since I gage it to him. In terms of bringing up other fighters in this thread, Man_Machine did that Oh sure he would toy with him! Perhaps the worst post in the thread. Vitlai has nothing at all to due with a middleweight thread.
right-o, could you be a chap and point out where, cheers. i agree, why is vitali being mentioned in MW thread. The only contentious link to MW for vits is that he lost to a former MW in byrd.
So why are you brining it up then? Byrd was well over 200 pounds for the vast majority of his career! Hardly a middle weight. If you must talk about Vitali in a middle weight thread, he never lost or drew to lesser fighters, nor was he ever floored by smaller men, or any men for that matter or close to even on the cards in any of his fights, and you can contrast that quite clearly to say a famous Middle Weight like Monzon, who lost several times and drew several times to lesser talents, was floored by smaller men moving up in class, and also had his hands full at times on the score cards. Vitali did not fight 26 men under .500 either. Monzon did. I checked, Vitali only fought 2 men under .500 when he meet them, and one of them was his second pro fight.
hey dont get all hurt, i was just showing how spurious a link to vitali and mw is.# wow you got sure butthurt over me actually agreeing with you. or....... are you trying to deflect from your inability to show us where manmachine introduced GGG to the thread? you've not shown us where he did that yet.
LOL, you really don't pay much attention! Post #258, it's not in this thread, never said it was. The link to Machine_Man asking this is below: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/why-i-think-ggg-is-a-top-15-all-time-middleweight.605921/page-18 This content is protected This content is protected HerolGee, Now comes the part where you need to say, okay thanks for the information. But in reality, you thought he never said it, otherwise why would you ask me...twice?
wtf are you quoting something from a completely different thread? what has some unrelated past thread got to do with who introduced 3G in THIS THREAD? show me where ManMachine brought up GGG IN THIS THREAD, not some unrelated thread from yonkers ago. jeez.
