They are not proven. It's a matter of if you believe in it. Believing in it or not is proven over time. Styles matchups play a large role in it all when determining that. I think Andrade beats Saunders, I just do, so will be picking so. I either look smart or stupid, we all find out. They are proven to be quality fighters, not elite, but high quality. At Middleweight, still entirely to be determined.

 

I don't consider Vanes losing an accomplishment. You may think the version of Vanes that GGG fought beats Smith, but the fact is your speculating and doesn't make him greater. Accolades make athletes better.

The fact is Smith was a world champ with defenses. That's even more than Lemieux has accomplished.

 

In fact resume is better than being a belt holder.

Vanes has Charlo, Lara x 2, Andrade fights against top opposition.

Wins against Smith and Nelson trump anything Smith has done.

 

Those were all at JrMW. I'm talking about 160.

Anyway, Charlo is not probably better than Lemieux, Charlo is better than Lemieux. He is more accomplished and is clearly much more skilled in every department. When Jermall Charlo loses to a fighter like Marco Antonio Rubio or Joaquim Alcine we can make a better comparison and you may have some kind of point.

What you said is that Charlo doesn't deserve to be mentioned along side David Lemieux is preposterous and ridiculous. If both fighters retired today, despite Jermall having a much shorter career than DL he would go down as the better more accomplished fighter.

In terms of what each has done at 160, Jermall is still behind. That is what I mean be mentioned w/ the top contenders at 160. Charlo's current accomplishment was 154. And that was simply beating two old JrMW's and one up and comer in J Williams.
