Their have been so, so. Many over the yrs. Arguello and Hearns are mentioned. Danny little red Lopez had a excellent straight right hand, J.Louis was excellent ( but Louis was exceptional with all his punches) L.holmes, Joltin Jeff Chandler. One hasn't been been mentioned, and believe or not prime Ali, after the jab, or lead right, his speed was his power, with deadly accuracy.

I don`t think Muhammad was as accurate with the straight right as the other guys you mention here.

He had an awesome straight right. He turned the tide with it in the second Marvin Johnson fight. It was his chief weapon in koing Richie Kates. He couldnt land it on Dwight Braxton much but that was due to Braxton great defense.

True; Tszyu's right hand was the 'Chris Rea' of boxing.

Zab Zab sure wanted to dance! ;)

I think their is confusion on what a straight right is as I have seen Marciano and a few others mentioned who threw the right overhand or cross the straight right is exactly that......straight as an arrow with the body in a straight line not across the body not looping or hooking but straight the straightest from the shoulder right hands were Schmeling, Willard, Arguello. Wlad K, Lewis, Louis, Liston, Johanson, Chavez, Archie&Davey Moore, Hearns, Steele, Monzon, Holyfield, M. Spinks.....and others

We are talking STRAIGHT right hands correct? With little hint of a 'loop' to it? At Heavy Ingo certainly warrants consideration. He had a good jab, no left hook to speak of so the Bingo was his big asset. I was impressed by his volley of combos against Machen before the stoppage though that inane ref should have stopped it much sooner; look at him 'counting' over Eddie. Some sort of a "I'm doing my job here..." nonsense.

that was a nice natural counterpunch. Zab's lack of defense really hurt him. Zab never was elite in his skills, which is why he lost to the top guys.
