I'm not asking who would win in a fight. My question is who is the overall better boxer .? Workrate ,punching accuracy ,stamina , technical arsenal , head movement , foot work ,counter punching , cutting off the ring . In short who has the better ring iq based of their performances

GGG vs. Brook 2, only shorter, I don't think Spence is as durable as Brook, in spite of the fact that Spence stopped Brook.

GGG looked terrible at cutting off the ring against Canelo and Jacobs.

Spence and it's not even a question. Spence is much faster and more technically sound defensively. GGG is a great fighter don't get me wrong, one of my favorite of this era. Spence is just special though.

He's asking who is the better fighter, not win. GGG would def win at 160 if Spence just jumped straight up there. Spence is the better fighter though imo. He's just so precise with his shots.

Their offense is a lot different, Golovkin works the jab and pressures until his opponent shells and then starts working on penetrating the guard. Spence digs the body more often and is more willing to trade. Their defense is about equal. Both have a great guard but Spence fires combinations from it while Golovkin parries jabs while countering with his own to continue exerting pressure. I would like to see Spence against a defensive minded counter puncher though.

I'm a fan of both fighters but I would rather see Spence fight so many more 47 & 54 fighters before ballooning up to 60. Thurman, Porter/Garica winner, Crawford. Then move up to 54 for Charlo, Hurd, Mungia then after all that Spence beats GGG probably by late round bodyshot stoppage. There's just something about a fighter that does his talking with devastating body shots.

*edit* and after all that I read the OP to see they are asking who the technically better fighter is, and not who would win :sherlock:

I'd say there skills are pretty even honestly.

Yeah... no. In no match has GGG lost 5 rounds right out of the gate, and literally needed an opponents eye to go to take charge of the fight. Both are precise punchers, but GGG has some of the most immaculate punch placement in the sport.
