Thats a different topic and holds no merit when it comes to Mikey and the HOF

of course, how many other fighters do you know of who can win 5 belts, any world belts, in 5 divisions in less than a dozen fights? How many times have you said "mikey needs these last rds or hes going to lose", or "mikey is hurt, he might not survive"? thats right, NONE!

no, pretty much relevant. because no one fights anyone anymore, everyone has a weak resume.

How i that relative to the Hall of fame?
Either you have a resume or you have the fame. Mikey has neither.
And no, guys actually do face each other.

Take Danny Garcia. He is constantly lambasted for being a cherry picker but lets look at his resume: Khan, Matthysse, Guerrero, Thurman and now Porter.
It´s a fantastic resume, but not HOF material.

It's just that the legends of the past faced each other way more often. Guys in their 20s had HOF resumes while now guys in their 30s are just only stepping up to world class opposition.

I'd say Garcia is already there to a certain extent.

I'm high on Spence but he is getting overhyped he himself has one stand out win in Brook the rest of his resume is littered with feather fisted fighters.

I'd say the fight would help out Spence more than Garcia in terms of victory resume wise.

Mikey will never fight Spence. Mikey is too small for 140. Spence could fight at 154 and has the whole 147 division running for from him. Wake up, people. MIKEY NEVER FIGHTS SPENCE.

Mikey will definitely qualify for the Hall of Fame if he moves up in weight once again and defeats the best current welterweight, which is Errol Spence.

But it seems to be unlikely that he will win, Spence is too big and too good.

Yeah. I think Spence will go on to have some big wins, but he hasn't actually notched them yet. The hypothetical Mikey win should look better over time, but there's no guarantee.

It is important to look at what a guy does after a particular fight when judging a win/loss against that fighter.
