Bellew admitted in a later interview that after that moment he realized he wanted nothing to do with Wilder and admitted he would get rendered unconscious. He said he's the most dangerous heavyweight and remember this is a guy that was prepared to fight Haye and Tyson Fury.

"I promise you, stay in the heavyweight division, we will put you in like a gang, we will beat you in it"

That was another good one from that confrontation, Bellew was shook lmao.

“My power is so crazy, I don’t even know the length of it,” Wilder said, more than 40 minutes in. “I’m so dangerous. Like, I can only imagine me getting into a fight in the streets. It’d be crazy!” His power was in evidence, he said when he fought Artur Szpilka in Brooklyn, and “he was dead three to five seconds.”

Nah, I want a body on my record. I want one. I want one. I really do. no dice. I don’t wanna kill somebody for a few seconds,” Angela Yee, a co-host, offered. And Wilder whirled to her and said, “Nah, I want a body on my record. I want one. I want one. I really do.”

CTG cracked up, and said, “Nooo. You wanna be Ivan Drago?”

“That’s the Bronze Bomber, he want one. I always tell people when I’m in the ring, like I am the Bronze Bomber, and with him, it’s like soooo crazy.” Basically, when he’s in that mode, “I don’t really care.” There’s no feeling for the man across from him, he asserted. He takes off that mask and then you should know, he’s coming to knock you out, and go home. Then, after the deed is done, he can snap back into a being a decent dude.''

This is the stuff that makes boxing great again.

There's a story I could tell about trash talking, and what a colossal tit you look like, when it all backfires on you.

But, it involves me, and Dolly Parton looks flat chested compared to how I looked.

    So I won't.

    Gimme the silent killer.

I look down upon cheap trash talkers. Usually, they have very little to offer intellectually -- with Ali being the one exception.

I prefer the silent killers a la "I am feel" or "He's a good boy".

I don't mind either, love a good trash talker but also respect fighters who can stay calm and professional in the heat of the moment, both say something about the character of the fighter.

A good trash talker is a salesman, can make a boring fight seem exciting simply by opening his mouth a using a few well chosen words and one liners. These guys can be good for the sport creating interest outside of the hardcore fans.

But having said that nothing worse than a trash talker that can't back up his words. When you know the words are empty they have no meaning. If you are going to talk trash at least have the balls to back up your words.

A professional and respectful fighter can also be good for the sport, they put the sport in a positive lime light, make boxing less niche and more mainstream by presenting the sport in a more professional manner instead of the circus act it can all too often become.

But again having said that, if you can't create hype and interest outside of the ring like a trash talker you better make sure you at least bring it in the ring and give the type of fights that fans want to see. Being gentlemen outside the ring is fine but nobody wants to see a gentlemen in the ring, we want warriors, gladiators in the ring to entertain.

Plus Calzaghe vs Hopkins and Tyson vs Holyfield (although Tyson was not a huge loudmouth he did do some trash talking about seriously injuring his opponents and swearing at journalists)

simple, whoever gets the best results!! if the loud trash talker backs up what he's saying, then trash talker.
