Why do you think so? Bivol seems more fluid and has better defence than Gvozdyk and Beterbiev, but both of thhem hit much, much harder.

You know deep down as well as I do that regardless of division there was a far more significant size advantage fight night for Crawford over Gamboa! & Rigo is more skilled than Gamboa anyway..

You're also talking about a guy who now plies his trade as a fully fledged WW & who will probably end up at 154! Gamboa is a career FW/SFW...

    Dwarfist!

Lmao you can't even compare the Gamboa win to the Rigo win. The Gamboa win was an excellent one, the Rigo one gets absolutely no credit. Gamboa didn't jump 2 divisions to fight Crawford. He was already at 135! Rigo jumped 2 weight classes. No credit at all. That picture u showed just showed Crawford being taller and Gamboa being way thicker.

And no, Rigo would have beat Loma in his prime at the same weight. You can't give Loma credit for doing something he didn't.

Power isn't everything. Plenty of guys in his weight range hit much, much harder than, say, Crawford but he's still light years ahead of them all p4p.

I never rated highly Gamboa to begin with, never thought the match was be all that competitive. Gamboa was a sent force when he got in the ring with Crawford. Loma's win against Rigo, who was far higher P4P and skillwise than Rigo is clearly worth more. Remind me again which win of Gamboa's is next level? Salido? That he barely got past? That fight was ridiculously close, or was it the so so Solis, Ponce De Leon or Farenas, who almost KO'd him? How about Barros, who's thoroughly average. What the hell was so great about Gamboa anyway? I've always failed to understand any of his hype, and let's not forget Gamboa had been down what? Like 18 times by the time he got in with Crawford? Anyone with half a brain cell knew Crawford was gong to win this, probably by KO. Hell here's my post from the RBR itself.

Nope. If Rigo fought at 126 or 130 at least once then there would be an argument. He literally went to 130 just to fight Loma. Also far higher p4p? Doing what? Beating Nonito in 2013? What did he do between 2014-2018? Exactly. He fought no one to suggest he was the same fighter.

By the way Crawford was not even close to being the clear favorite. I remember people trying to ban bet me that Gamboa would destory him. No one expected Rigo to beat Loma. It was obvious a near 40 year old Rigo jumping up 2 weight classes had no chance.

I never even entertained the thought of Gamboa winning, it was only 50/50 to casuals. So its a push in my book. And my book counts more than most people's.:D

Anyways to stay on point, I think it's kind of a triangle theory. I see Gvozdyk angles and volume frustrating Bivol's more orthodox boxing style but I see Beterbiev crushing Gvozdyk and Bivol outpointing Beterbiev.

Agree with the first half, second half not so much, I think Gvozdyk KO's Beterbiev, his straight right would be like a heat seeking missile right between Beterbiev's eyes, and due to Bivol's lack of power, Beterbiev would probably walk through his best shots, batter him and stop him late.

I'd love to see them fight. Especially before Beterbiev ages. Kovalev still has a lot in him too. Just needs to actually take the sport seriously and get that stamina up. Stevenson is completely shot since he's 40, but those 4 mixing it up would be a boxing fan's wet dream.

Couldn't agree more, even on the Kovalev point. He's just disillusioned and has lost interest in the sport, maybe the legit KO was the wake up call he needed.

I think it's more that he needs someone to guide him than him losing interest. That's why I said he needs to go to Virgil. His stamina is clearly the main issue. Virgil wouldn't take **** from Kov. Kov needs a trainer that will put him in his place not someone there for the paycheck.
