    No he didn't

Billy owned his comments instead of apologizing and so Wilder had to ask him what was wrong with him.

You don't call the baddest man on the planet a racist **** and think you can forget about it.

Outside of the ring, weight classes go out of the window.

I think the people of Belfast town have a good idea of what a "Bomb squad" is, and it isn't a fat American tourist in a red tracksuit chasing people around Nandos.
You wanna talk bombs in Belfast, there are some gentlemen you might like to meet.

Well excuse me!! I don't remember Don King selling one of his welterweight fighters to fight a super middleweight.

Neither do I remember Don king prohibiting his fighters from expressing themselves.

Eddie's fighters have to tow the company line lest he whips the skin off their backs. He scolded AJ for asking for 50 million. We know his interviews are scripted.

Every word and deed has to be passed by Massa Hearn before it can be approved. Which is why he spends more time in front of the camera than his own fighters, because he speaks for them 80% of the time.

Make no mistake Don King is a devil but that doesn't then justify what Hearn is currently doing and how he is treating his black fighters like bags of meat that can be bought and sold as he sees fit.

The people of Belfast were already familiar with the Bombsquad war cry since they have foreknowledge of the American Champion.

They wouldn't have been so stupid as to mistaken it for madman alerting his victims that he was to denote a bomb.

Which is why it's ridiculous when some other idiotic poster on here implied that they only knew who Wilder was because he screamed bombsquad.

Billy Joe simply answered the question correctly. "Yes, I said that."
    We all know he did.

I agree, BJS shouldn't have thought everything be cool and try shake the guy's hand and forget what he'd said previously.
But the fact that Wilder is "the baddest man on the planet" (debatable) shouldn't come into it.
If BJS was wrong to say it, it should stand as wrong regardless of how big and bad Wilder is.
If BJS said the same thing about a little non-fighting guy, I'd respect the guy to confront him too. Clearly Wilder resorted to physical intimidation. He could have just told BJS to apologise or **** off but he stood up as if the confrontation was a physical one.

Yeah, but the point is, Wilder's crew are a bunch of clowns. Nothing more.

If nobody knows Wilder in the UK now, they will come to know him. Just like nobody knew Fury when he jumped in the ring after a Wilder fight and got booed for his efforts. Nobody knew Spence, but they know him now.

Standing up doesn't mean it would have lead to anything physical

Billy would have been given an opportunity to back down and correct himself.

Do you believe in the past boxers would think they could talk crap about Mike Tyson and then upon meeting him act as if things will be settled amicably?

These men rule and settles things with their fists in and outside the ring, so it's up to the man speaking ill of these types of beasts to either not say anything if you're not equipped to defend yourself or take the consequences.

You can't be the perpetrator and the victim at the same time.

Joshua/Hearn have no intention of fighting Wilder (or Fury if he beats Wilder) in April, 2019.

All Billy Saunders had to say was

''Yeah I did make those comments but I was being stupid and I take it back''

Instead he let his own pride get the best of him

Wilder's crew helped stop BJS from ending up in a hospital last night.

So I think in this instance they deserve credit however I'd rather have seen them let Wilder loose on Billy.

Saunders made a mistake playing the race card and Wilder confronted him about that, there's nothing wrong with it, also you guys are watching the false sport, boxing is not a gentlemen sport for **** sake, go watch some Badminton.

As the video shows, that's not what happens. I'm not sure what you think the purpose of standing up was then, if not physical intimidation.
It's no big deal but it was physical intimidation.

I've agreed that Saunders was foolish to say it to begin with, and I agree it was foolish for him to not forsee that Wilder might remember it and have a problem with him.

Mike Tyson went back to prison for a road rage incident, slapping around civilians, and was sued or settled for assaults severals times.
That's the point. A better man would avoid the trouble. These guys have more to lose than the average young man causing havoc in streets and pubs.

I suspect you fantasising now about "beast men" and "baddest men" who "rule" the jungle or something, so I'll let you get on with that !

    It's not about boxing though.
It's about clowns throwing plates and chairs and chasing each other around a freaking restaurant !

Don't get me wrong, I've done some stupid, destructive and idiot things like that in my own time. But it's nothing to be proud of or try to justify, whether you're a boxer or not.
Any fool can cause a scene in a public place.
