I'd rather see Fury v Wilder in 12 months time, as I believe it's a more competitive fight.

Although, that viewpoint is then argued against by someone claiming 'You're worried Wilder will KO Fury if they fight next"........

If they fight this year, Wilder would KO him, and we'd miss out on what can only be a better fight in 12 months time.

 

we are discussing a sport that the public in general doesn't give a damn about. at least here in the States.

12 months from now, both Fury and Usyk are in a position to beat Wilder imo.
(Usyk may be 18-24 months away, especially if the Ward stuff is true, plus the Bellew stuff).


So, if he wants that Joshua payday he needs to take it before those 2 guys are in shape.


I didn't expect Fury to be foolish enough to accept a fight so early, where a guy who doesn't even rate Wilder, thinks he's going to get KO'd.

 

You have to understand that some of the morons on this forum have made up their minds about certain fighters and will not change their tunes no matter who the fighter beats. Look at Ortiz. I swear all i heard for 3 years was how Ortiz was a beast and how he would kill DW in a few rounds. The minute the fight was made you started hearing "Ortiz hasnt looked good recently, hes an old man, hes a drug cheat and finally hes a 50 year old bum" as soon as the fight ended.
No matter who DW beats some idiots have made up their minds about how they see him. If he cleans out the division the excuse will be that its a weak hw division.

I've never put anyone down based on the color of the skin. If I did that would make me prejudiced which I am not.

However I am allowed to describe a person's color. I don't believe that is an offence when making a descriptive post.
